Got some Androgel packs as a get-well gift back when I was in the hospital. Just wanting to know how much test is in each pack. They're the 1% 5gram packs. I'm pretty sure its 50g in a pack, but then I read that only 10% of that gets absorbed into the body over a 24-hour period. That's only 5g...could somebody please clarify whether that's right or wrong. Me and another member are trying to figure it out. Thx guys.

Eric090585ANDROGEL THE FINAL WORDS! OK, so I emailed Abbot directly about this and I just got off the phone with them. Nate was reading it correct. Each 5gram packet contains 50mgs of test, but only 'about' 10% is absorbed into the body. SO, you're getting roughly 5mgs of test per dose. However, it's "bio-something identical" meaning that it's the same as the test your body produces and therefor more effective. How much more is questionable.
That being said, the amount of test taken into the body via IM ijection is still up for debate...cuz 4% just doesn't seem right.

Eric090585Ya..cuz if I'm reading that right then we keep 4% of the test we inject....meanong that if you're doing 100mgs of prop EOD then you're really only using 4mgs eod! And one tube of androgel gives u 5mgs...so is this article trying to say that androgel is stronger than prop?!

Jtizzleits only 1% (pure test) of the 5g. so lets figure out 1% of 5000mg = 50mg. thats the amount of test in each pack , then subtract 90% from that and thats whats absorbed.. so if I am correct you are gettin 5mg... check my math guys
