Do Steroids Always Take Their Toll?

ad

Does every cycle make your natural testosterone last a little bit shorter? Will every injection mean lower endogenous testosterone later in life? And if so, even when using PCT?

Lately I've seen a lot of "doomsayers" that are effectively arguing this. The argument is that young guys are doing damage to their HPA axis by doing steroids in their 20s. Can some vets give some clarification to this line of thought?

I think it comes down to using aas way to early and or not cycling correctly. If you don't stay off long enough to recover than you will never recover. just like hllwdboy said the longer you stay on no matter what it is it will require more to get the same effect. I know from exp that if you stop using dope for a while your not going to need that gangsta line like before.lol same with aas.

I think these replies demonstrate how subjective this issue is. Some believe it's possible to avoid negative effects by administering the appropriate PCT, and hllwdbdboy seems to be saying damage is inevitable eventually in his cocaine analogy.

Can we reach a consensus opinion on this or is it too variable/subjective to the individual? Will steroids necessarily change you - for better or worse - forever?

Well, lets do a comparison here. When one takes cocaine the euphoric effect stems from receptors getting overstimulated and dopamine is pushed out at an irregular rate. Over a period of time it takes much more to gain the same effects. Over a prolonged period of time the receptors no longer have the ability to supply the necessary amount of dopmine for desired effects.
The same physiological principal applies... Why you guys want to shut down something that isn't broken is beyond me... Lazy? Impatient? The impetuousness of youth? I don't know but diet and training dictate everything. If you still have system that produces significant test then USE IT!

I feel as though my test levels are higher now than what they were after my last couple cycles. Unfortunately I have no way to prove it because I never got baseline bloods done.
