+ 1 Can steroid abuse at a young age lead to testosterone replacement therapy during old age?

ad

Hi guys,

Here's a question I have been trying to answer, but have found a significant lack of research towards this specific topic.

My question is: Can steroid abuse at a young age lead to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) during old age?

From this question, I am referring to the use of AAS of users in the 25-45 (approximately) age range, and how this affects their natural testosterone production as they age.

I acknowledge that different compounds and different potencies may vary the effect of natural testosterone production, in addition to the affect that quality PCT courses can have.

Thanks for reading and I will look forward to your replies.

There is still no evidence for this.

In fact the only clinical evidence supporting anything remotely like this suggests the opposite: that the shutdown of the testes while on cycle may actually have a protective effect on the aging of the tests.

The higher number of former AAS users pursuing TRT/HRT could very well be attributed to simply these types of people are more likely to pursue regular bloodwork and know when something is not right hormonally. Many non AAS using men have been hypogonadal as early as their late 20s and had no idea until a doctor has observed their low testosterone levels during blood work.

It's still a possibility yes, but to be honest most of the cases where guys blame their new found TRT program on previous steroid usage are just men who had it coming on the cards anyway and want something to blame it on. Not many guys are willing to consider the possibility that they might be the percentage of the male population that ends up on TRT wether they used steroids previously or not.

With regards to ASIH (anabolic steroids induced hypogonadism) more often than not this is seen in men who have run very long, highly suppressive cycles, and it often rectifies itself with time (to the tune of 18 months, yeah not a fun number I know) if nothing is done to help it. However with the combinant use of hCG therapy and SERM therapy, this can be rectified in a relatively quick timeframe.

Use it or lose it is a basic idea in just gaining muscle mass. Same with your nuts. You shut em off.....so whats the long term on full recovery sound like. Compound that with the fact of after 35 you naturally slow production as well. Its a one--two punch.

Man I've been on since end of november '11 due to some shit products I used and had to keep it going cuz the shitbproducts just barely shut me down or I would use good stuff and then use bunk for two wks, it was a real messy first two months to this cycle so really I have only been constant ON since end of february. I just bought Aburaihan amps a month ago and they are working SO well that I don't wanna end this cycle yet. I almost did tho, the last two wks I've used only prop and tren but everyday I looked at the amps and im like damn ...I was gaining so well.....so I dropped the tren and prop and did one of the amos today and I did it just in time I just startes to really lose the bloat from before so im just gonna stretch my cycle out longer. I've wondered that too if im over doing it but tbh I don't care. Im young and if ny body can't recover from this one cycle I guess ill have to do one shot of cyp every other week that's no prob with me. Id love to hear some more feedback on this though.
