Can AAS Urine Screening Test Differentiate Between Testosterone Esters?
ad
Simple question, can a AAS urine screening test differentiate between different testosterone esters i.e. cypionate vs propionate vs enanthate? No doubt, a urine steroid screening panel can differentiate between different compounds i.e. nandrolone vs trenbolone vs stanozolol. But to my knowledge, what trips a screening positive for testosterone are the metabolites of testosterone and a disproportionate T/EpiT ratio and esters aren’t involved, but I have no confirmation of this, so anyone have any knowledge on this?

@IrishMack,
I understand that. But does testosterone come back as “positive testosterone” or is it possible to identify the ester type as well such as “positive testosterone cypionate” or “positive testosterone enanthate” from a screening urinalysis?
PcushionThe ester is not present when it comes to testing for hormones. An ester basically makes the steroid hormone a pro hormone. It’s not active until the ester is removed. Hot panels only test for active hormone. No they do not distinguish between esters.
It does not come back positive for prop or enanthate or any other aas. It comes back positive for testosterone. Period.
Test is test it does not come back positive for equipose or prop or tren it comes back as test.
