ad

I was thinking about getting some Anavar... however a few of my friends said it doesn't really work for someone who has a b/f of 8%+?? Im around 21% and don't want to waste my money nor do I want to take advice from a bozo who is just talking out of their ass and passing up on a great product!!! Any advice would be much appreciated...THANKS!!!

8% is low, for any cutting cycle your bf% should be at 12% max!

i have seen guys get pretty good results from var that have a body fat % that is higher than yours but defenitly it should be paired with test most preferably prop if your just looking to loose bf you could try clen or some other fat burner but the main thing is diet diet diet..

Interesting that this came up. I've been reading up on Anavar myself and was considering ordering some.
I'm at 14% BF and was thinking this could help me reach my goal of 10%. I wouldn't be cycling anything else though, my girlfriend is completely against AAS. I'm working on her though, I want to get one more cycle in.

So if it's a waste at 21%, I'm guessing it would be a waste at 14% as well. When would it not be a waste?

If you're not going to use a test base, then the answer is NEVER.

Oral only cycles are a bad idea.

Kinda what I thought, was just hoping it would be different with Var since it's supposedly mild on the liver.

I'll hold off until my girlfriend is ok with me running a cycle.

Thanks

I would if I didn't care what happened. She's a good one so it's best that I not screw things up. Priorities man, I'm not a kid anymore. I'd rather have her support than tell her to deal with it or leave.

Var would be a huge waste of money at your current bf%.

21% bf, waste of time, and I hope you're not talking about an oral only cycle? You shouldn't be looking at gear at your level of bf, your in greater danger of BP issues etc.

Trim it down with diet and cardio.

Catalyst's picture

At 21%bf, you're going to see limited results from any cycle. You need to trim down to at least 15% before a cycle with a good diet and cardio regime.

In terms of anavar at 21%bf, you're most definitely wasting your Money. All you'll get from it is some temporary strength increase. Even at 12-14% anavar's effect is pretty limited.

Ok, so you're planning on running test e and var at ~21% BF. As you can see from the comments on this thread, people's personal experience with running var at high BF percentages showed that they gained strength, however, the overall verdict was that it was a waste of money.

Now, you mentioned in your first forum post Strength/Endurance/Speed, as the title suggests, that you are...;

"looking to drastically improve our ENDURANCE, SPEED AND STRENGTH!!!"

...and from this i can say that var is not a compound that will necessarily provide you with your desired results, although it will help somewhat by increasing your RBC, however you must realise that you're in a sport whereby your heart rate is naturally high, thus by introducing var, your heart rate may skyrocket.

My personally recommendations are simple, firstly drop your BF% down, not only will this naturally give you a performance enhancement/boost, since you're much leaner and as a result your moving around less weight, you're muscles will be tighter and well nourished too (See Pre-Cycle Protocol. Secondly, once you've achieved this, you can then consider running a cycle; now it would be easy for me to suggest running EPO, EQ, blood doping and all of these other exotic compounds, which increase your RBC count and overall increase your endurance, but the simple fact of the matter is that this is your first cycle and like myself and many others, we have benefited so much from running a simple test only cycle, which was subsequented further cycles, where one compound was added at a time. So, like i said, if you want "to drastically improve our ENDURANCE, SPEED AND STRENGTH!!!", then drop your bodyfat and once you've achieved this, consider a test only cycle - then admire the drastic changes.

Ideally <12%.

If you gave people all the information in the first place it would help wouldn't it? Do you think many people run AAS to improve cardiovascular ability?

Anyway I'm done giving you my time with your smart arse response. Enjoy your anavar.

Not a good start. These man are great coaches they can save you time, money and pain if you listen. And sometimes things need to be said in a tone as to get your attention. Take a look around this post and see how many vets have come to give solid good advice. And they don't owe any of it to you the last thing you want is to insult one and lose the benefit of their expertise. Apologize my friend it will go along way here.
