Anadrol bottoming out my iron levels

ad

I went to do my usual red cross donation to keep my RBC (red blood cell count) levels in line. Typically I do the double red in order to prevent having to donate frequently. I was shocked to hear that I did not qualify for double red and barely qualified for donation at all. The reason was low iron.

This has never happened to me before. Typically my iron levels are very high. The only difference this time is that Im running 100mg of anadrol ED. My hypothesis is that the anadrol has increase my bodies production of red blood cells thus depleting my iron levels. Iron being needed for the production of red blood cells.

Anyone else have this experience?

anadrol is prescribed for anemia . How long have you been taking it?

^ What he said. My GF is anemic. When her levels bottom out, I can give her a hug and the next days she is so bruised it looks like I beat her. The bruising, fatigue and being foggy headed are her main symptoms. Although you said you're technically in range you could very well be "anemic" as its my understanding that we all have a different "normal" in terms of iron that we require.

Have the same sort of symptoms and feel pretty lethargic. I don't have anything like bruising easily or some of the other major symptoms of anemia though.

Wow this is weird ! I had the exact same problem just last week. Except I'm running EQ.
They had to do a blood test on the spot to see why my haemoglobin levels had dropped so much after my last donation. They still let me go ahead and donate though.
