+ 1 Red face!

ad

I just finished up my last cycle getting ready to start pct on Friday. During my cycle it got pointed out that I’m always very red. When I say red I mean my face is red!! When I wake up in the morning it’s not so bad but once I start moving, or working out it gets real real red! My face is still red not as bad now but still very embarrassing always being told dang dude your red af. Any time I check my blood pressure it’s always good..am I just destined to be red for rest of my life

I remembered the itching and redness of niacin Smile

Maybe check your RBC, donate blood if you have!!

scoobydoo's picture

High RBC would definitely do it. I know from experience. I didn't even think of that. +1

Haha been there many times myself...its the first it comes in my mind !

Dbol does it to me. Red face, neck, shoulders and chest. And yeah, the comments fly! Damn dude, you're red as hell. How's ya get sunburn in the winter? Lol I've heard em all. BP on point though. Only from Dbol though

LMAO I get it from Dbol too - people always assume I've just been training haha You get use to it yourself and its just others who notice it.

CHIMAIRA75's picture

You definitely do get used to it. Never notice it yourself! Then I find myself starting at myself in the mirror like an idiot looking for it. Lol!

Another reason I don't like dbol. Face looks like a tomato when I bend over to tie my shoes. Shoots my BP up about 25points within a couple of days.

CHIMAIRA75's picture

Yeah I'm not a fan of it. My BP was fine, but the redness is constant. Also, I feel like I just don't get much in the results department at all. I get more out of Drol with zero redness. Lol! But Hey, not everything is for everybody, right?

I agree not everything is for everyone. Long ago drol gave me the absolute worst headache ever and it wasn't bp related so I don't even use it, I didn't last a week.. Felt like a hangover times 10. Ment decreased my appetite so yea we all don't get same affects from same compounds. Lol always has been and will be that way.

CHIMAIRA75's picture

Wow bro, that's the first I've heard of Ment killing the appetite. Glad it don't do that to me cause it's such a feel good compound with great results for me. (Save you some money though lol)
Drol gets me that way after 2-3 weeks. Gotta stop, give myself a break and fire it up again.

I wish I could tolerate Dbol because I actually do get a euphoric feeling from it but it tanks my appetite so bad that I actually lose weight on it because I litterally have no desire to eat. Then throw in the BP issues and it just isn't for me.

CHIMAIRA75's picture

I've heard that there's that feel good euphoria from it. I haven't experienced it. Ment is the only thing that seems to give that to me. And we know that don't suppress the appetite. It may be significantly more expensive but I'll just stick to that when bulking. I'm gonna try the E next go around. Maybe kick it with the ace to get her going. Is the appetite and all that still present with the enanthate version? You still liking it?

Starting wk 4 and really started to notice an increase in appetite end of wk 3. It doesn't hit you in the face right away like the ment a does, just slowly creeps up on you and you start to notice there are no longer any leftovers left in the fridge.

CHIMAIRA75's picture

Hahahaha that shit is the fridge cleaner. Good to hear though. I'm gonna give it a go next go around. Thanks brother

Thought this was just me! Glad to hear it’s the dbol and there’s an actual cause for it.

When it happens my skin is real hot the touch

"And Dr. Dre said "Slim Shady, you a basehead!" Uh-uhhh! "So why's your face red?"

Jockstrap's picture

Estrogen level? Blood pressure?

scoobydoo's picture

Rosacea?

Mac12769's picture

First time this happened ? So we have a better picture, what all are you running the cycle with, supplements, medications as well. ?
Could be an interaction or just strong side effect, etc.

First time been going on about 2 months . My cycle was pretty tame imo. 400 test e 50mg anavar. My blood pressure is always pretty good right in the range it needs to be. On the estrogen I’m not sure I won’t be getting bloods done til after pct. I’m just curious if this is permanent. I don’t think it’s rosacea.

Makwa's picture

Same BP as when you are off cycle? Still may be in range on cycle but it could be higher than when off cycle which your body is not used to.

godzillabooty94's picture

You should always get bloods pre middle and pct. If you can’t afford bloods then maybe you’re not ready to cycle imo. We need to all start focusing a ton of effort to our health with this stuff. Just looking out for you

scoobydoo's picture

There are some states that only allow blood work through a doctor. It could possibly affect your health insurance if the doctor puts steroid use in your chart. It's definitely a great idea to get blood work, but not everyone has the option. It could be because I hung out with a bunch of meatheads, but we never did blood work in the 90's. I don't recommend doing what I do. I've never done blood work while running gear. Mostly because there weren't any labs close. I'm in rural 'Merica. There is a lab closer now and I plan on getting lab work in June.

press1's picture

The way they have started doing it in my area is there are a lot of private healthcare centres, hospitals and carehomes. You go in there and they take your blood, and then send it off to the Lab in the city. The Company offering the service must then give a kickback to the firm that took the sample.

Supplements, Cialis, viagra, vitamins, any DR script meds ? I’m looking for interactions.

I took 20mg of Cialis once. My face was flushed and warm. I felt too fucked up to fuck. Niacin will cause you to flush.

Mac12769's picture

Absolutely. Many interactions will cause flushing and not always related to BP. Just looking for other causes outside the norms for him.
I use Cialis as well, mostly low dose. I don’t generally get flushed, but some ‘labs’ do it to me, some don’t.

As of right now just a men’s multi vitamin. Same I’ve used for years. I do use cialis on occasion but not regularly. Was on doxycycline up until about a month ago for about a two month time period for acne which I have read will cause flushing and redness. When the flushing comes on it’s generally my whole neck and face and ears turn deep red real hot to touch. I don’t know if this could be possible or not maybe the cycle messed with my hypothalamus? Really appreciate the guys means a lot. Also my blood pressure meter is good i have two of them.

scoobydoo's picture

Are you using an a.i.?

Mac12769's picture

If it’s not any outside supplements, etc you might try switching to Test C next time as see what happens, narrow down the causes. Could be something in carrier oil too.

I'm fine with 5mg of cialis.

Mac12769's picture

I’m good with 10 mg, but at 20 the stuffiness kicks in. The pills at 20 sometimes causes little flushing. I’ve been using the liquid form lately and having better results with steadier time release.

10mg is a little bit uncomfortable for me. I've only used pharma Cialis so far, so I know it's not a dosing issue.

you sure your bp meter is good?
