From the advice of yall guys I went to the doc to get some bloodwork done because yall said the items I posted and said I was going to take might not me the smart/safe to do. When I told my doctor what kind of bloodwork I wanted to get done he had all these questions and I felt nervous about answering. Now he’s a general family doctor. Is there a place/doc I can go that specializes in the bloodwork that already knows why I’m getting tested.

www.ultalabtests.com is where i order mine. You pick the tests you want, pay for them online, print out the order sheet, bring it with you to any local Quest Diagnostics, get your bloods drawn and get notified by both Quest and Ulta over the next week or so as results roll in. You can almost always find a 15-20% off coupon code online for them.
The tests i typically get are

That ends up being just over $130 with a 20% off code. There are plenty of others to add on if you want as well.
I use requestatest.com. they will tell you closest place to get blood drawn and give you options between Quest and Labcorp. And they have monthly discounts.

I was kinda stressing about get this done but now it don’t seems as difficult as I thought. Are there any specific testing I should be asking for??
I have two insurances both hmo..the first one I didn’t say anything to about meta and thyroid labs and and called me freaking out saying I needed to be on antibiotics asap asking me how I was feeling. And if I felt sick I needed to go to the hospital for iv antibiotics lol. My white blood cells through the roof.
Before I got that response my other doc is this liberal Asian cunt, so I just told her straight up and she ordered labs for me. Also got a referral for a specialist now too. It was funny she’s like uh how long is this project your doing going to last for lol

There’s other websites that do the same thing, that’s the one I use.
You’ll pay out of pocket, but the results just come straight to you. You’ll either buy Quest or Labcorp tests, make an appointment at whichever one you bought, and then go get the blood drawn. Results will get posted both in your profile at walkinlab and in whichever app for the lab you chose.
As for which labs you want to pull, you want at least lipid panel, CMP, TRT panel (this includes all the blood counts, total test, free test, and PSA). There’s other more detailed things to check if you want like prolactin, LH, FSH, thyroid stuff, etc. That’ll be up to your individual needs.
Go to walk in lab.com or Ulta labs. Pick out what you want, they send you electronic script. Then you just go to your local quest or lab corp.
