+ 3 Early Morning Workout
ad
About a month ago my work hours became 6am to 2pm. I hate the overcrowded gym and having to wait for dumbbells or machines. I decided to start hitting the gym at 4 am and man am I loving it. I go on an empty stomach and do 10 min of brisk walk then 20 min sprint in 30 second intervals. Then hit the weights then sauna. I workout hard and fast. 30 to 40 minutes not including cardio and I’m done. Never felt better. Energy is through the roof all day and I can see the benefits already. It’s only been about a month.

monster1oneYou're doing a great job! Keep up the hard work and you'll be reaping the rewards soon!
For the last couple of months the GH has really helped with helping rejuvenate my overall look then the Tren Hex and the Aspen Sus. About to start the Primo and Winny.
unfriendmeSounds like you've got a great routine going! It's awesome that you're seeing the benefits already. Keep up the hard work and you'll be reaping the rewards in no time!
I loved my 5am workouts. Did it for years until I had to take full custody of my oldest son last year. Now I have to get him up and make sure he goes to school. So my workouts have shifted to about 7:30pm which I absolutely hate. The gym is crowded and it's full of people just hanging around talking and sitting on equipment just doing nothing.
I'm trying to do this at the moment but my god am I struggling to wake! I keep snoozing my damn alarm then find my self in the gym at 7pm after work, crowded, poor quality work outs. I miss my morning work outs!
Due work schedule, I work out 1 week morning 1 week late evening, the morning time sucks big time and since I can push that hard I do reps one week, heavy the other!!
Nice! I've been working out in morning for 25+ years and I work from home mostly so I can go whenever. I just works for me. Wake up, 4 cups of Iced Coffee then 60 minutes of weights and 30 minutes on the rower. Keeps me lean too as I don't watch my calories at all. Plus, doesn't interfere with any family time.
For the last 2 weeks I been doing doubles. Hope I don’t burn out.
I end up burning out after a few weeks -- I respect your graft
I tried that when I was a lot younger. Couldn’t do it more than a few days before I fell flat. Now I try to keep my heart rate at 130+ for 90 minutes and that’s all I got until the next day.
JohnJuiceI would love to train in the mornings, but I always feel so weak after waking up.
I love late-night training sessions, that's the time when full energy hits me.
In the morning I need at least 3 coffees to wake my face up and even start the day.
The sauna in the morning sounds so good TBH.
Buy black label coffee not black rifle. Label has I think 1650mg of caffeine. Starbucks has 80. I have a bag and it tastes great.
JohnJuiceI make my coffee at home, so it's pretty strong. But Im a coffee addict, so I have tolerance for it.. sadly.
Couldn’t sleep do just did. a 3 mile run and 100 push-up's and 100 pull-ups. Push-ups I did 1 set of 100 pull-ups I did 4 sets of 25. I’m hurting. Started at 2am
for me I always felt training in the morning makes me feel great for the day, but I'm a little weaker and have less energy during the workout. I think i train better after having a few meals in me, but that morning workout really sets the day off nice.
MxcreeperThat sounds like an excellent plan! It's great that you have found a way to adjust to your new work hours and make the most of your gym experience. Working out on an empty stomach can be a good way to burn body fat and increase energy levels. Doing short intervals of cardio followed by weight training is a great regime to follow and will give you fantastic results. Keep up the great work and you should certainly see the benefits in no time!
Now my schedule has changed again. I’m starting work an hour later so it given me a little more time. But I keep the same routine. Hitting the gym first thing in the morning in my opinion is so much better than an afternoon or evening workout. It gives me an overall better feeling physically and mentally. I’m in a much better mood throughout the day.
I'm exactly the opposite. If I workout in the morning I am completely exhausted for the rest of the day with zero energy. My workouts surely don't seem to perk me up
I do love a nap after my morning weekend workouts.
We might be getting alittle older
I guess we all react differently. I’m just really a morning person anyway. I love getting up when roads are empty and there’s nobody out.
I used to get dragged to the gym early saturdays. Would drink a shake when i left the gym and go home and fall asleep or take a nap us older guys call it.
unfriendmeYeah bro that was my routine for years and I used to be in impeccable shape when I was hitting the gym at 4am
I have zero energy in the morning, especially when fasted. There is no pump and I almost always have to rely on pre-workout supps to help me.
I do love the less busy gym and starting your day like that, however I recommend eating something before that will fuel your training. Even something as simple as an intra carb drink goes a long way
As long as I go to sleep early I feel great in the morning. I’m a morning person. Always have been. I guess we are all different. What works for one may not work for others. That’s why we do what we do here. I’m always willing to try something new though.
I did a spinning class today. It killed me! But it was amazing. The ass that was there was motivating and a good way to meet the finest ones.
PropheticWookieThis option is always good, but in any case, progression is necessary. But the main thing here is what tasks you have, you need to build from them. And of course your possibilities.
For me I think the best part of going before work is the feeling of productivity and getting it out the way. Once you have been gym and finished work you can then just kick back and chill for the rest of the day..
Once my kids are a little older and sleep more throughout the night, I’ll eventually try to do 6AM. My 2 hour workouts become 1:15 minutes. I can never workout past noon and usually prefer to workout fasted or with a scoop of protein with water. Just a preference and schedule.
test levels and senses are at their highest but begin to peak in the afternoon.
My workouts have been am for around a year now between 7-9am no food just isolate shake prior always and i find it very effective to stay lean but pumps are not always quite the same as afternoon or evenings after eating well.
Defo need a few cups of coffee to keep me going rest of the day tho.
Gym is more crowded in the AM than pm. Don't know about 4am though
I am definitely not a morning gym person. Nice it is working out for you.
My gym in the early am is only cardio people. I have just about all the free weights to myself. The only thing I use machines for is my shoulders due to bad tendinitis.
PropheticWookieI wouldn't tear myself away from pastels at a time like this. But even if he came, he would hardly have done the power on his feet
Mak is the body best served if worked at first rise? Maybe it’s mental but I just feel overall much better.
I have tried working out in the morning and get zero pump and I am completely spent the rest of the day. I don't get where people get their energy from working out in the morning. I have nothing in the tank left afterwards. When prepping I would do an hour spin class in the morning and even after just cardio I was drained of all energy for the entire day.
I've switch to early mornings (not that early) 6am 20 years go and could never go back to any other time. Gym is quiet, I can bounce around to keep the heart rate up and most importantly, for me, I can work out on an empty stomach as once I eat anything my energy levels drop. I think it helps keep me lean without even trying because I do not watch what I eat. At all.
Love the avatar! Looks like my mother-in-law
I’m not even hungry after but I do get some good carbs and a decent source of protein like smoked trout or deer jerky. Just my think lol
basskiller88Keep it going!
Thanks Bass! Thanks for the support.
