Broken leg / back into cycling advice

I was cycling , first 2 test only but had started one test, mast, var cycle 3rd cycle. All was going well but I was a passenger in a bad car accident on thanksgiving.

Broke my femur into a few pieces and tibia at knee joint ;plateau fracture .. I’m healing well. Gaining back range of motion. But I had to stop cycle in hospital after surgery etc.
I’ve been going through my physical therapy, stopped meds but ibuprofen and Tylenol. I’m just walking again now and stepping up exercises as far as lifting light weights/ cables and recommended leg exercises. Can take a year for femur to fully heal bone, but will be walking, working, going to gym soon; if starting very light on legs at that.
My question basically: Anyone else with any similar experience? Broken bones or specifically leg and going back to the gym/ starting to cycle again etc?
Lost mass and strength so I’ll see where I am at gym before I start again, but curious anyone has been through injuries as well.
Steroids help or hurt healing if I start soon? I have seen some studies low nandrolone can help bone repair but not enough on that to believe fully, and body needs test and estro to heal bone.
My biggest concern is getting full leg motion back. I have enough to function, run etc, and do most anything , but squat’s might be limited in depth , depending how much I gain the next month or so in range.
I had 6 blood transfusions, rod in leg and screws in hip and knee so I’ll always have that but with range of motion I’ll be able to do everything, if I lose some strength in that leg from damage and scarring, so be it. I’ll work my ass off to get it back, but it is what it is now. Thanks for any advice.

Yes, I’m taking multi vitamins but I could check calcium specific. My first thought was HGH but I should look into more, as far as bone and accident/bone recovery.

My buddy loves the stuff. I’ve considered it but haven't so far myself. Seems pricey if you want to be sure it’s legit source and the best quality/type, but didn’t get into this to cut corners. It only seems a positive to me, even on a regular cycle.

Thanks, I hadn’t seen these specific ones but it goes along with ones I have read ; that it’s a positive for bone and joint growth/healing and regeneration. I knew about muscle etc so makes sense.
I just wish there were more human tests and studies done, but from what they have , looks positive.

Yea, I’m not surprised. It makes sense to me. I think it could help especially with recovery, upping my physically therapy now.

I broke my femur years ago and had a rod inserted. Your leg will probably end up stronger in the long run.

As for strength and range of motion, for me it was more psychological than anything else. It took some time before I trusted the leg.
Don't overdo it, stay within your comfort zone, before you know it it'll dawn on you that you're back to normal and won't be able to recall when that happened.
