Water retention help / tips
Hey
So just running test e , I’m on week 6. Sometime last week noticed I was having water retention. ( socks leaving marks to long , waking up once twice a night with pain in hand on side I lie) I’m not wicked bloated or anything by any means but notice signs and hand pain a btch.
My estro was high ( but no sides) so have started Aromasin because estro was high , which I’ve noticed sock line better and arm smaller but more defined now and nips less sensitive get hard way way less. I’ve been watching sodium and water but have upped that and amount of water.
Also looked into and started taking/eating more potassium, vitamin C and apple cider vinegar gummies. It could be that it just is going to take more time but still wake up atleast once a night with hand pain which is my biggest issue. This is all within last week. Hurts like a bastard until move around 10 minutes or so getting up.
I’m doing more blood to check estro and all levels in 3-4 days be a week or so since started arom. Also doing more cardio, on my way to gym now for pretty much cardio only session to get a good sweat going I read helps. My question any other pointers or help or anything I might be doing wrong?
Also Aromasin dose first 2 days was. 12.5, the. Did a whole pill 25 but sleep was shitty was a bit much just wanted it to get in system but won’t do again. Now I’m at 6.25 everyday., about day 5 I believe. Until I see bloods.
day off going to pound low sugar sodium cranberry juice I have as well help pass water. Anyway any advice from anyone with experience or experts on here would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RustyhookerSleeping on your side....brand new muscles pinching your brachial. Ya its funky. Numb tingly ouch.
Yea my bics and trics have blown up fast which can’t help.
You definitely are experiencing side effects of high estro. Water retention and sensitive nips are classic side effects. People never listen. You need to be proactive instead of reactive, especially on first cycle. Off my soapbox now. Very few people can get away with no AI. At least now you confirmed you need to take an AI like most of us mortals and just have to dial in the dose. No major harm done but all of this would have been avoided by starting your AI a couple weeks ago and then adjusting off of bloodwork if need be.
To deal with the bloat you are just going to have to let your ai do its job and get your estro stabilized to a lower value. In the meantime though there are a couple of natural diuretics that may help with the bloat. To help shed water when I need to I use dandelion root and vitamin C. I use pure dandelion extract and put a dropper full into everything I drink. The other natural diuretic that works really well is Vit C. 10-15g/d split into multiple doses should have you peeing like a racehorse.
Also the more water you drink the more your body will shed. Try pushing 2gal/d. Fill up a quart bottle so you can actually monitor how much you are drinking throughout the day. I wouldn't worry much about trying to cut sodium, unless you are eating a couple of pounds of bacon each day. Sodium is not going to make a difference if you drink that much water coupled with the natural diuretics. This should tide you over until you can get your estro stabilized to a lower value.
Cool okay thanks. That’s where I’m at as far as thinking and doing. Pounding water, taking vitamin C , apple cider vinegar. Lowest sodium I can and continuing Ai. Blood work in afew days we’ll see where estro at then. Nip sensitivity almost completely gone. Ankles sock lines better. Biceps still big kept gains but less bloat which I don’t fit realize I had any of this until hand /sleep issue. Things ‘seem’ to be improving so I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing. Also added in longer/much more cardio. Thanks for input that’s about what I was thinking. Should have started Ai a week earlier but was waiting on bloods and had no sides but nip sensitivity at that point. Otherwise gains all good. BP good
Molinin302How's your blood sugar levels? BP? I dunno bro, may not be water retention. I'd get a full panel done. The sock lines could be water, but imo that's often a circulation issue. Dosages? Diet? Family history of cholesterol or heart issues? We're all here to help buddy.
Yea blood pressure is good. I checked yesterday just to be sure. No history. Blood sugar is one I do not know. I got supplements to help with circulation just incase but I have a doc appointment the 4th going see what he says set up bloods with him or private.
I had circulation numbness laying on arm when I was younger but it’s been 7-8 years since last happened. Could be extra muscle mass or again water. Idk trying everything I can to see what helps.
Molinin302Yea man, the bloods will let you know. Just keep an eye on things and feel free to ask questions. We're all knowledge in different areas here, get ya fixed up lol. Friend request sent.
Thanks much appreciated
Celery is a natural diuretic, also lowering your carb intake will help you shed water too. That hand pain is the bloat pushing on your nerves, ie carpal/cubital tunnel. Hows the bp?? Headaches???
Bp is good. I try to keep a close watch on that. That was my though was water was trapped/ bloating nerves. My ankles were def slightly bloated when I looked only after noticed hand and has gone done some since arom, extra water and supplements to help. Hand lingering but hoping time. I have low sugar/sodium cranberry juice, was going to add with water as it’s a diuretic?
When I've had huge water retention in the past hand pain is something I have never encountered - this sounds like it could be something else unless you run a lot of HGH and are talking about in your wrist area?
DRINK MORE WATER
Boom boom! Flush that sodium out.
AnonHow much test? Personally I prefer arimidex with higher test because it’s easier for me to make quick adjustments. Let’s see those bloods when you get them.
Gallon of water a day? Low sodium and keep those carbs clean
I always get that hand tingle when I’m bloated and sleep on my side
That bloat tingle is your ass getting older and your cubital/carpal tunnel nerves getting smushed! I had surgery at 37!
I debated , my buddy used dex does fine but rebound seemed Aromasin was better. I might get dex so have both. Have nolva and clomid on hand for pct to.
And yea exactly , it’s side I sleep on. After that checked socks and indent lasted longer than should. That’s gone done and nip sensitivity. Plus arms smaller bloated wise I hadn’t noticed but muscles still there. Just hand is last thing but I’m hoping keep it up h20 sodium Aromasin should keep getting better then bloods afew days see where estro at. For apple cider vinaigrette and vitamin c to heats helps didn’t know if any other experience with this or tips but seems like what I suspected just hadn’t got rid of all water yet. Just did 40 minute cardio then core with hoodie so sweat as much as I could lmao
Yea. Test e is 360-370 a week. My last test ;
Test total 2038 free 384
Then afew days later did estro test becasue they didn’t do on first and
Was 140 something so high
lower your sodium intake, up the H20 and like you've already stated....only blood work will give ya a definitive look at what is really going on. Goodluck
Thanks yea I’m hoping just a matter of time before kicks in better if I maintain it. Like I said in ankles nips got better right away just the hand during sleep thing is a pain when it wakes me up at night
Also take liver support pills but have been taking prior to this.
