+ 1 Best time to take HGH?

I was under the impression that it was best taken in the morning, as your body makes hgh at night, and taking it at night stops what you’d naturally take. Then I saw someone say when they take it in the morning, they become very tired and lethargic.

I’ve been taking it in the morning, as I thought I should. Now I’m double checking to see if I’m right or wrong. I don’t take a high dose right now, only 2.5iu a day.

Any/all advice is like usual, always super appreciated.

I’ve been using 4 iu for weight loss for the past few months,. I pin the full dose ~45 minutes before I start fasted cardio in the AM. It puts ~2 hours between the shot & my first meal.

The general rule of thumb is to take it in the morning if you are after fat loss as your carb stores are already depleted from fasting through the night, and in the evening before bedtime if you are after the recovery aspect of it - plus it mimics your bodies own HGH pulse during REM sleep. Its the same as taking Test prop before you go to bed as that mimics your natty test production when it comes into effect in the morning.

I just started pinning 2iu nightly. Not sure if it’s placebo or the Flexeril I’m also taking at night, but I’ve been sleeping better. My wife is pregnant and she snores like a mf while pregnant, so I usually end up on the couch somewhere around 2am. The last few nights I’ve been sleeping right through it. Trying it with no Flexeril tonight to see how it goes. Currently on week 2 of a low dose of tren cycle and dreading the insomnia. If I can at least get some sleep due to the GH, I’ll be ecstatic.

My wife was all about a feeding schedule. We were up every 2-3 hours feeding the baby, oftentimes waking the baby to do it. Second her ass went back to work from maternity leave (3 month) I let my daughter sleep as long as she wanted without waking her up. Been sleeping 8+ hours a night ever since.

Sometimes (but rarely, let’s be real) poppa knows best. My first two kids we kinda just tried to get them to sleep wherever they would. My son was a maniac though. Cried for the first 9 months straight. Never fucking slept, even when we’d try to keep him up during the day. When my wife brought up wanting another one, I said “No! Do you forget the 9 months of hell we went through with the last one?” She won though. I’m not going to deny vagina and who likes to pull out? Three kids is more than enough though. Getting snipped ASAP.

For real. He could get a cheap phone tripod, an inexpensive lapel microphone, and shoot the videos with his phone in the beginning. It’s super easy. Post them up, and get some passive income. Once that videos up, it’ll keep generating revenue.

You could do a weekly video. Do a video a week on a certain compound. Once you get a viewer base, you could start putting polls up on what they want to hear about.

@Makwa obviously knows his shit and likes helping people. You could make some extra side money by doing what you’re already doing, and it doesn’t cost the people you’re helping anything more than it already does.

I’d be all for seeing this. I could even help you if you wanted.

I’d prefer to stay right now at 2.5iu a day, right now, as I’d like to make it last a little longer while I recoup the money I spent on sales/holidays/personal expenses. Plus it gives me an even amount in vial. Do you think splitting that dose (say 1.5iu when I get up and 1iu before bed) would be better? Or possibly going up to 3, and doing1.5/1.5? I don’t feel like I get tired or anything after my 2.5iu when I wake up, but if I can extend the benefits by split dosing, I’d do it. Opinion? Thanks in advance brother.

I probably wouldn't bother splitting 2.5 iu. Could try splitting the 3iu. Best way to see if you like it is to just do it :smile. Really not a right or wrong way, just try some different protocols and see if you get a better response.

Compared to how I used to be, I’ve been noticing some improved sleep, waking up feeling more rested, and I used to be able to fall right back asleep without issues. I’ve been finding myself waking up at 8-9am (unheard of for me) and not being able to fall back asleep. I’m also on medications that can cause drowsiness. So I don’t think it’s causing me anything negative by taking it when I wake up. I guess I’m okay with just doing it as I have been?

I’m one of those people that has to take it at night. Every time I take it in the morning the lethargy is completely unbearable. It ruins my day as I’m in Zombie mode until I go to sleep that night. My wife has the exact opposite effect. If she takes it at night, she can’t get to sleep. She pins at 4:30am and has the best workouts, and has extra energy all day long. It’s crazy how it effects us so differently.

@JakeKO you were actually the one I was referring to posting about taking it in the morning lol. That’s what made me question what I’ve read. I was taking it at night, but then was told I’m pretty much wasting it as my body makes natural gh at night when I’m not supplementing it at night.

I take it usually whenever I get up. If anything, between the test and hgh, I feel like I get better sleep. I can also wake up in the morning and usually used to be able to go right back to sleep, but I’ve been finding that harder and harder to do the longer I’ve been on GH. I’m running a low dose though - 2.5iu a day right now. I don’t feel any less energetic than normal, and I’m also on some medication that can cause drowsiness. So I guess I’m okay with how I’ve been doing it?

I take 4-6iu a day 5x a week. I take 2iu as soon as I get up and that helps with no fat ever being deposited in my lats or Adonis belt and the rest I take depends on my eating schedule. I hit the gym 2 hours after that. I am lethargic all day and after 2 years, still no relief from that but I've been able to switch my sleep pattern to 3-4 2 hour naps a day. I know that amount of sleep can't be great long term, but I will continue this regimen for as long as I see results.

On days I don't train, I may only use 2iu a day and reason I take weekends off, is so my body doesn't learn to rely on lab hgh only. Have also heard of some bypassing this by switching to a double dose every other day.

Man I wish I could afford right now to run that much a day. I def notice even at only 2.5iu a day, that even being calorie deficit, and only taking test, I haven’t been as active in the gym recently as I’d like to be, but I’m still putting on and keeping muscle, and losing some fat around my stomach and my arms, which were NEVER vascular at all, I’m finding new veins every day. I can’t wait till I can get back to a solid gym schedule.

If that’s the case, yes, you’re better taking it in the morning. Like I said, everyone is different. What you heard about pinning at night is true, but it also has a lot to do with your age. At 53, I doubt that my body is producing any amount that I’d be worried about pinning at night, LOL. But like I said, my wife pins GH and she’s off to the races. She is also ready for bed at 7:30pm every night though, and fast asleep by 8:30pm.

Bottom line is you have to do what works for you, and if you’re not getting tired after pinning in the morning, stick with that protocol. I wish I could, but have come to the conclusion that it just doesn’t work for me.

Yeah it doesn’t seem to make me lethargic or tired. If anything, the opposite. Idk how much I’m naturally producing at night at my age, I don’t think I ever had much GH ever anyway, I’m short for a guy as is. Now also with my age, I wouldn’t think I’m making that much. If I can make a little naturally on my own at night and then supplement in the day, I’m going to as long as I can. Now, if only I could get lucky with not being a heavy aromatizer, that’d be great. Kthx lol

Morning and night is when most folks do it. I don't feel tired if I take it in the morning you could always split your normal dose.

I don’t feel tired when I take it in the morning or when I wake up than I have before starting it. Everyone’s body is different, so I guess as long as I’m not having any negative effects than I’m okay with how I’m doing it?
