+ 2 Would you pay for advice on how to do a cycle ?
ad
Hi,
New to all this and this forum looks great. Does anybody pay a professional for advice on how to cycle correctly or do they just get it from this forum ?
I’m just looking for some gains. Currently on test as I’m 50 years old and it was very low. I’m doing a beginner cycle of 300mg for 8 weeks on test and 20mg of Anavar. My weights at the gym have increased massively and I’m looking a lot better. I contacted Dr James who I find very informative on YouTube and he’s 400$ for starters.
How do you guys go about it ?
Thanks in advance.

Just watch Vigorous Steve on YouTube. That’s all I do, and I’m proud to admit it. He takes the wheel and I take a nap in the front seat
Was his older stuff more basic? Imagine you knew nothing, wouldn’t you be fucking lost in his videos lmao. Talking about Beta cells, hemoglobin and hypothalamus, pituitary gland and all the other shit. I hardly keep up with his shit now, never mind first starting out lol
I’m pretty sure he’s laid down videos for beginners. I know there’s some on proper cycle design. He has a lot of content, but yeah you’re right at this point currently he’s real deep in the game. If you watch his Q&A, he can link a video to 90% of the questions that get asked. That’s why at some point I wanna start hitting him with our good ones
Chase responds to any comment I leave but if we get a real complex good one for Steve we’d have to drop like 10$ ona super chat
Steve will answer ones for free too, if they’re not stupid. I’d throw him a couple of bucks though anyway, just on the strength.
Ya I just feel like he probably gets too many so to get him to see it, just do it as a super chat
A good friend of mine on here a few years back did an extensive post on EQ and kidney toxicity, estrogen effects etc. Vigorous Steve then included it in one of his videos at the time! It was hilarious, think he pulled it down though since as well as a lot of his profile for legal issues he had going on.
You will of seen some of his other work such as Blood Donation centres and Tests etc, HanginLow.
That’s super cool. Is that his name “hanginlow” that sounds familiar, I feel like I’ve seen that somehwere
That guy helped me big time on my food and digestion
Has he been on here in the last year or so?
Definately over a year ago since he was last on, think its been one of those cases where he has had no choice in the matter if you get me lol I am sure if he was able to get on he would be on.
Maybe I’ve just seen his name on things then like comments or posts or whatver cus it sounds very familiar
Maybe a year ago.
What’s he charging $400 for, what exactly does he offer? What are your current stats and your goals ? At 50 your health should be your main concern and running big cycles isn’t really an option .. but with regular blood work and health checks you can run some good cycles and stay healthy. Use the money you were thinking of spending on a coach on blood work ect and you’ll get all the info you need here.
So basically all the info you need is out there. It’s just a matter of how much time to you wanna spend researching on your own to do it right. The other thing is there’s plenty of clowns who will steer you wrong even if you pay. In your shoes I’d say pay a coach, if you can afford, but try and choose some one reputable, just because there famous doesn’t mean anything. Actually the YouTube guys could be the worst because they just send the same plan to 10,000 clients
Absolutely no need at all buddy to pay for Steroid advice as you have everything you could ever need on here. We have guys who will advise you on the compounds you should run together with weekly dosages to meet your goals you wish to accomplish, how to run ancillaries should you encounter things like estrogen or progesterone problems, how to get and interpret your bloodwork if you wish to post it up on here like many do, what to do if you feel you are not getting the results you think you should be - the list is endless. Many people on here will give you better information and knowledge than the pretenders off Youtube looking to charge you hundreds of dollars for the privilege. Plus we do all the other things like Diet, Training, Recovery, Mental support advice. Sure if you wish to take things very seriously and compete then you would be better to get a Professional coach to keep you on exactly the right track with every single area of things, but we still have IFBB Pro's on here who do things all themselves
Sign me up with the diet guru press.

anvilSo he said, but look out I have to wait three months for his SARMs to kick in...legit story brother Chad!
Dang a test fueled SARMS goblin lol
I loves ya bro
anvil<3 right back at ya big guy
LMFAO
anvilCmon Press you know....haven't heard back from any of these guys yet...
go look in a mirror….You are the diet guru wanted
anvilI nominate you.
You have like 30lb of mass on me. I’m not on your level yet…anyone can be small, skinny, and veiny like me. It’s called not eating enough
My secret is weighing literally everything I eat. Including the milk I drink. If it goes in my mouth, it goes on a scale first. Unless it’s prepackaged with nutritional info. And everything gets logged in MyFitnessPal. I’m sure there’s other/better tracking apps, but it’s what I’ve been using for like 15 years.
anvilBruh I defer to you and few real ones on being lean. You can be small but the rest is an art. Someone wants to be 240 or above stokes is there guy. I am like the old guy here...I just bring the real LOL
Bro, it is so much easier being poofy. I did that shit that you guys do one time. Got in, got my abs, took a pic and got out. I regret not staying there
I actually don’t want to admit how often it goes through my mind of “man it would just be easier if I didn’t give a shit and just ate whatever and didn’t work out. Think of all the free time I’d have and delicious food I’d get to eat whenever I had the craving.”
I see coworkers or friends and all I think is man what the fuck do you do with all your time, because I know you don’t exercise. Shit 3 hours of every day of mine is taken up exercising since I do it 2x a day every day. And I do all the cooking in my household. Have a full time job.
But it’s my routine and I’m lost without it.
@SeeOhShow
I wouldnt change what we have for nothing
My wifes job has many ladies there. They have many many gatherings mostly bbq’s , pool parties, beach events. Can you guess who the first guy that has his shirt off and swimming in the pool with the women. Ummm this guy !!!!
Many of the women married to the bulking guys. Saying nooo 98 degrees isnt hot enough to take there shirts off and swim. Theres room for us buddy Just saying. GO WITH WHATS WORKING. Stay strong buddy
anvilI love you for it! Much respect and it shows my guy.
Yes, yes SeeOhShow, come over to dark side. One spicy chicken and one McDouble pre workout lol jk
Although, I think you would enjoy cutting loose and smashing everything for one cycle. There’s something to be said for it imo.
You have the discipline to reel yourself back in
See I have the appetite to eat 2-3 Chick-fil-A hash brown breakfast burritos in one sitting. Then a couple hours later 2 double quarter pounders from mcds. Train. Then eat an entire pizza after training.
I’d be on the TLC show “My 600 lb life” in no time lol
Lmao, OhShow, doooo it bro. Lemme see you one time up there post cycle 260 with a food baby. Savage
I’ll give you one good Eddie Hall type bulk next bulking cycle. Starting around thanksgiving, since that time of year it’s easy to bulk with how much food is always around. May not hit 260 but I bet I can get to like 245
Fuck yeah OhShow, I’m looking forward to that one. Take the governor off and let it rip
I went off Eddie quite a lot when he started being a prat to Thor over the 501 deadlift and subsequent boxing match. Up until that point I idolized him though and watched all his videos he posted up. He can put away some serious food that guy no question, you gotta begin each day with a MASSIVE Full English breakfast mate. Amazing to think he has become so much more sucessful with Youtube than he ever was in Strongman in monetary terms. When he was still in shape he was awesome to look at too in strongman.
I absolutely love the interaction between Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw. It’s like a true brotherly relationship. They need a reality show together where a camera just follows them around with just them being them. Would be hilarious
Tbh you can get away with eating whatever you want and still get great gym progress, as long as you make sure you get all your protein and carbs in you will still get big and strong - you just won't be as lean I guess. I do admire the guys like SOS who are disciplined beyond belief in what they consume and take in over each and every day greatly, but for me a big part of lifting is enjoying the great appetite increase I get from it and enjoying food a lot more. Without training I barely eat anything as my appetite is so weak normally, I simply couldn't imagine sitting down to eat after lifting and denying myself something to eat as it would take me over over my carbs or sugar intake for the day. I guess I am naturally lighter than most guys though and find it hard to put weight on so my persepctive is compeltely different that I am coming from. Getting to 220lb would be a pipe dream for me.
How you described is pretty much how I blast and cruise. I’m just having fun, nothing like running a feel good stack and slinging iron with full belly 24/7. I’ve spent a lot of years training without adequate nutrition, proper equipment or any gear. Bro, gains are hard fought for when your post workout meal is a ramen noodle soup with some bologna in it lol. So even two years into this, I still marvel at the fact that I can almost see myself growing sometimes. Although at 44 I know I can’t keep chasing size but I keep saying one more time, one more time lmao
Mate that is one thing I can never get my head around when I talk to guys that trained inside - how you can sit down after training and eat noodles and processed mystery meat that must have about 2 grams of protein per serving in it. You know when you have that insatiable protein and carb craving after a good lifting session where you wanna devour everything, then some desert afterwards but instead you are left with the option of something that is basically nutritionless and bland, like eating cardboard LOL All the while whilst being trapped inside a tiny room with another bloke stinking the place up, or like @Pumped puts it - being laid in a bath in a bathroom 24 hours a day LMAO My pals in the past have always said to me though, when you have no choice in the matter you just get on with it.
I mean it’s really like feast and famine. Hard times, it’s pitiful af. Like I’ve been so hungry that I’ve made little candies out of dried dollops of toothpaste. That’s extreme and that was only one time out of many years, but true story. Generally the worst it ever got is you’re fasting and hoarding all your food so you can eat it after your workout. Other times though, you have more than you can eat for months on end. Still though, it’s never as good as what’s available out here. Then you’re still drinking poison water, lacking proper micronutrients and supplements, even sunlight. I know I came out that mother fucker hauntingly pale and bloodwork in some aspects terrible
Do you get Vitamin tablets in there, or Vit D3 as surely they must have to give you those things by law as you sure as hell ain't getting them from the food or time in the sunlight there?
You can get a cheep ass multivitamin, fish oil, and vitamin c (which we use to make cheese btw). Except for a period of time I sweet talked the medical provider into giving me a prescription for prenatal vitamins
Wanna know what’s crazy? After like 2-4 years (can’t remember exactly how long) of being in special management unit (super max) (no sunlight) they will start giving you vitamin d injections and I think that’s in accordance with law
anvilBro, who telling you that?? Big bro says we chase size or die tryin!
Lmao, naw man, you know what it is. That was just one of those disclaimers you gotta throw in when speaking on an open forum
