I little about me:
*Height: 5'10
*Weight: `about 190-200 lbs
*Age: mid 40's
*Gender: Male
*Bodyfat percentage: 25.1%
*Experience level: amateur, working out 4-5 times a week ( 1-2 hours per day) for the last 8 months.

I started working out a year to a year and a half ago going to the gym 2-3 times a week mainly working on building muscle. About 8 months ago, I decided to focus hard on losing some weight as I was 216 lbs and could not see Jr. when looking down... that gut tho! LOL!! I'm a Workaholic and always on the road. Chipotle is/was my go to along with a few sushi places (I love white rice and chicken) when on the road.

Anyhow, about 8 months ago, For 2 months straight, I stopped doing wights and focused on Cardio and changing my eating habits. I ate white rice, white breasted chicken (no skin) and a salad for almost 2 months, eating at around 1300-1500 calories a day. Gym consisted of the row machine for 1 mile, step master for 15 minutes (hate this machine, but burned the most calories it seems), fast pace walk for 3 minutes, run almost as fast as I could for 1 minute and back to 3 minute fast pace walk. I did this for 12 minutes (pushing myself to make it a mile within that 12 minutes). I would then go hit the sit down bike machine and bike for 3 miles (pushing myself for under 10 minutes). I spent about an hour each day for 6 days a week in the gym during these 2 months. I dropped down to 174 lbs doing this.... it was boring as all hell tho! My goal was to drop down to 175 lbs of which I did!

After the 2 months was up, I went back to lifting for a month before starting my first cycle. I wanted to bulk up/gain muscle and hoped I would tone/lean out a little.

I was doing research and the common since was to do blood work before touching anything, doing blood work towards the end of my first cycle and doing blood work about a month after my last shot. Thankfully I did all that!

Blood test before I started taking Test: First 2 images
2nd and 3rd bloodtests: images 3-8

Test 2 (shown under "Previous") was taken 15 weeks after being on Test-C (was taken the last day of my last shot, just before my last shot in fact). I was doing 200mg on Monday mornings and 300mg on a Friday morning for a total of 500mg a week. The last month, to ease off of it, I took 200mg's on a Monday (Jan 30th), skipped the Friday, skipped the following Monday and Friday, took my last shot the following Monday (Feb 13th, just after taking my blood test). I was also on 1mg of ANASTROZOLE per week except for the last month, I stopped taking it when I was coming off.

I waited a little over a month and my 3rd and final blood test on 3-27-2023 (Shown as "current" on the last blood test)

During my time, I had no side effects that I noticed. I'm normally ADHD and even before taking test, I don't seem to wear myself out at the gym. I do feel the soreness in the muscle, but 20 minutes later, I feel as if I can do another 90 minute work out, my wife things I'm crazy. I work out with a few buddies (who don't know I was on Test) and they say I over do it sometimes.. but my body does not feel it at all during my workout... a few days later I start to feel the work out for sure!

I did bulk a little in my chest and arms (sadly no before/after pics) and I'm now sitting at around 190-195 lbs depending on if I took a crap or not before weighing myself Smile

I'm thinking about doing the cardio thing again for the months of May/June and seeing how much I can lose weight wise (thinking about a goal or 160 lbs?) and then doing a 2nd cycle of test at around 700mg/wk.

Sometime I think I'm doing it all wrong, trying to gain muscle and lose weight at the same time which can be hard (eating at a surplus or at a deficit). Generally I eat at around 2000-2300 calories a day, but I will admit, my typical eating habits are not strict. I eat a lot of cereal (fruity pebbles anyone? Coco puffs?... come on!) 2-3 bowls a day, Chipotle about twice a week.

Thoughts? Feedback? how does my blood work look... I get lost on all this stuff but trying to educate myself as I take this journey. I truly enjoy going to the Gym. I'm almost there 7 days a week... missing a day only when my wife says I need to take a little break.

Great job buddy, that's exactly what I should have done in my first run and many others that don't! Very responsible approach buddy ++

My only suggestion would be to make sure that your taking in enough water. Insufficent water intake could be whats resulting in your electrolytes all being on the higher side in addition to your BUN and Creatinine. Although I agree with Makwa in that the creatine being elevated is just a result of you being an athlete. More lean muscle mass = higher creatinine levels

that's some nice labs here. Very well structured and I like how they compare your current result with the last one. You have + from me for a responsible approach to PED usage and testing regularly.

Is there any reason why your eGFR could be a little low bud? (your kidney filtration rate)

SoloCon's picture

Ya, this is a concern and something I'm watching closely. Over the past year, up until about a month ago, I was taking 5g of creatine a day. When I say my creatinine levels so high, I stopped taking it. Might be an indicator that my kidneys are not filtering like they should. Not 100% sure, but something I'm keeping on eye on. Not taking anymore creatine until my next blood test. Not sure if I'm going about this the correct way, but ya.

All that happens with Creatine is it gets converted into the by product creatinine so as creatinine is a measure of eGFR it in theory means that your kidneys are not clearing as much, but as you are taking creatine this will be higher anyway. The reason I bring it up bud is if you look at a lot of bloodwork on here then eGFR is still 90 and above which is a normal figure for guys that are running Test like you are. Granted when you have more muscle and train, eat more protein then the creatinine level will naturally be higher, BUT it should not be down at 59 which is where one of your readings is. Sure if you were 250 to 280lbs of muscle you could argue that is causing it, but you are 190 to 200lbs. Basically that level is just dipping into Stage 3 Chronic kidney disease which is not where you want to be. Sure if you were running Tren and a toxic oral then this reading would go back up maybe 10 to 15 points when you come off them - but fact is you are just on Test. In fact looking again you have a 59, 65 and 69 in blood results. So it is not just a one off reading. Remember mate, a liver can heal and regenerate itself - kidneys cannot. I would look into it more.

Higher creatinine levels should be expected from a bodybuilder with any appreciable lean body mass and are completely normal. Not an issue. If you were a 90 year old grandma that weighed 85lbs, then it might be issue.

Higher creatinine levels will suppress eGFR. Just how the equation for it works.

Looks good brother. Get rid of the specifics like dates for example. Your bloodwork is a fingerprint. Definitely post it in the SRC forums you will likely get store cred for it. I read your post pre and prior edit. You may be on a rollercoaster of weight loss/gain if you keep up your current regime of training and diet but you will be and seem to be a healthy individual. Pretty concise and well written. +1 Keep up that hard work!

Thank you! What's the SRC forums?

If you got your gear from a SRC hear you should leave your BW there. If using a PC or MAC select the "Sources" option at the top of your browser and select "Source Talk" or "Review". Give the acclaim to the appropriate vendor if you used one.
