+ 2 How should I start *updated*

ad

I’m gonna start a cycle I’m just not exactly sure which way to go. Right now I’m 32 6’3 250lbs, a solid bit of muscle. I’m on Reta at the moment to get some more of this body fat off, but I have been hitting the gym regularly for a few years now. So how would I go about my first cycle, I was gonna go just basic Test C but I’m interested in kinda pushing the limits a bit. Any advice or help would be awesome.

Update: I got my blood work done, my test is 449. After checking out the advice I’ve been getting from you guys I’m gonna start with a test C cycle run that and see how that works out.

Another update: Started Test C at 250 a week just to start and see how it goes and go up from there. Now the next question is should I stay on a TRT dose after cycle or do a PCT? I’m not happy with my natural test numbers so I was considering staying on a trt dose between cycles. Anyone have insight/experience with that? I’ve done a lot of research but I’d like to hear from people with experience.

Start with ordering blood work before you do anything, need to get a baseline of where you're at. Once all markers are in the green. Low dose test. 200-250 mg/week before you titrate up. Get bloodwork done every 4-5 weeks and have ancillaries on hand in case any sides come up. 12-16 weeks working your way up to 350-400 mg/week will be a good baseline.

I’m older than you but I was heavy and trying to lose weight while gaining muscle. Don’t wait to start test, I waited and now I’ve got more work to do. Test C has done wonders for me in the gym. I had a lot of questions about what, if anything, I should add and I decided on nothing right now. I am considering gh and dropping the Cjc/ipa peptides because I’m not seeing much from them.

In short my advice is to get on some test for a few months and see how you feel. I’ve learned that adding one thing at a time helps me keep it all sorted anyway.

Test and at most GH is generally the only things you should be taking your first cycle. Start maybe 250mg a week and 4iu daily. You can make amazing progress with the basics, and dialing that in will make any future cycle you run better. Take it slow, get pre cycle blood work (a full panel, somewhere like good labs), I personally use rhythm for a month or two and then get a full panel done and repeat both on and off cycle. Also make sure you're being realistic with how much youre willing to commit, are you willing to stay on trt for the rest of your life or are just trying to do a cycle and pct? Sounds like you have the right idea with getting that body fat down before starting.

Lots of great advice here, and the more you read and educate yourself you will feel super comfortable getting started. Also getting a coach who is highly respected and reviewed would not be bad for starting out.

In my opinion this is not the time to push the limits. Start your test, you could even do something like 200 mg a week to start and see how your body responds. Right now you don’t know anything about how your body will aromatise, respond to increased estrogen, CBC markers response, blood pressure. I would recommend start low and collect data through bloodwork and consistent logs. Once you have established a base line and get that body fat percentage down from where you are then start “pushing the limits”. This is a long game man, if you come out too hot too quick you can do more harm than good. Then you’re further in a hole, due to the systemic havoc you wreaked. You’re doing the right thing by asking the community, and I do not claim to know half as much as some of the big dogs on here. Good luck and keep us updated with what you decide!

Testosterone alone is such an incredible jump from being natural. If you run a cycle correctly youre gonna be amazed at what test alone will do. Alot of the biggest guys I know run nothing but 2 classic "beginner" Test only cycles a year.

The correct/safe/smart way to do it is to become familiar with how your body reacts to compounds individually. See how sensitive you are to testosterone by itself. See if running an AI is even neccesary for you by taking labs mid cycle. 500mg is more than enough on a first cycle. Going from natural to 500mg of test a week, the results will be insane on its own.

I think promoting conservative cycles/dosages is better for the long run. Life's a marathon not a sprint right? Dont jump into high doses and multiple compounds right away. I know you hear about alot of ppl doing that these days. These people will burn out quick. Im 40, im starting to see signs of suffering the consequences of years of on and off aas abuse.

No reason to do anything but test, you want to see how your body reacts to test before adding anything else. Your gonna want to get bloodwork to establish a baseline and get labs again in 6 weeks and see how your responding if your e2 high and no sides ride it out if you have estro sides implement an ai.

Definitely want to have everything on hand just incase so that’s you vials of test(I always get one more than I need) an ai and pct

Run it 12 weeks and see how it goes I had a buddy who had the whole elaborate cycle for his first I told him wha the guys here told me stick to test only. That guy is on his 5th cycle and he only now added an oral previous 4 were test only and he couldn’t be happier
