1st cycle advice please help a newbie :-)

ad

Hi all just joined but been reading through eroids for a bit now.

I am 51 been long Time since I worked out. I am 6"1 240lbs and according to the scale 33% bmi. Ouch

I am at the computer too much for work and just started running a bit. I want to do a cycle of anavar to get me going and especially loosing weight.

I have a small home gym basic weights pull up bar and a 80kg heavy bag .. jump rope etc.

Could use some advice on how much anavar to get.. figured 200 x10 mg for 2 months...

Could use some help on the daily ramp for dosage and if I need to stack it with anything else ... think in no but maybe you would just recommend a nutritional supplement.

I only want to lose weight and get some definition... no bulk needed lol.

Also any help on a brand recommendation for the anavar would be helpful. Finally and I am probably pushing my luck but what a good workout routine given the home environment I detailed above.

Sorry for being so needy just want to do this right first time.

ok you say you are 51 and 33% fat. I hope I haven't misunderstood.
What do you expect from a cycle?
If you don't want to gain muscle mass, the worst thing you can do is run after steroids. However if you like my advice. Testosterone is the basis for every cycle.
1) serves to see how your body reacts to the substance
2) is used to see if you inject good stuff or shit.
3) represents the androgenic foundation upon which the health of any cycle is based.
Then analysis before and after. Know that fat intake makes a difference during your cycle. If you don't want to ruin your health, eat very few and quality ones.

Agree with all the comments. Why don’t you look into a GLP-1 (like Wegovy or Mounjaro) to try, and start a weight lifting routine with it. They will kill your cravings, allow you to focus on a clean high protein diet, and the fat will fall off as you build a base of fitness and trade fat for muscle. After about 6 months, I transitioned off of it, and have been on a dr monitored TRT program with regular blood tests. Muscle has continued to grow, and I haven’t seen fat gain at all. It worked for me, and I’d highly recommend it.

Baseline blood work, from there you either start with TRT if your test levels are low, this will give a great benefit for the beginning. Then over the course of months slightly increase if you can accept more health risks obviously and feel you could need more. Slight calorie surplus and you should grow well off of small dosages no need to jump in with 500mg with no sense.

Welcome to Eroids. At 51 years of age, I'd highly recommend getting your bloodwork/testosterone levels checked and possibly TRT under doctor supervision. Anavar only cycle would not be wise nor beneficial for you in the long run. Focusing on your diet and really fine tuning your training would serve you much better. There is no "magic pill" believe it or not. You stated you are only after weight loss and not concerned with getting bulky....diet and training alone, if both maximized...can do that for you and you will be much better, healthier, and results will stay with you as long as you stay on the right path. A highly knowledge and respected member, @Makwa has typed out some forums and details it all out....thoroughly check all the links I posted below. Good luck and wish you well on your journey.

Thanks to both of you guys for the answers... I hear you and not trying to argue ... I know from some other responses that steroids are not a diet pill.

But would it not help a bit energy wise and give me a bit of a head start to just do a light cycle ...speed up metabolism etc... I intend to keep working out and def want more strength and definition... everything I read about anavar seems to suggest its the safer of all options? If I was to do it do you have any advice on the quantities and brand etc?

Do not run an oral only cycle. Not very smart to do so. I know pinning (injecting) is not appealing but it will do more harm than actual good. After you get bloodwork. See what everything is at and go from there. Just getting in the gym and adopting a routing will boost your overall health. There's no magic pill for energy and weight loss. Actual exercise is the solution to your answer.

Not trying to argue either, but this is where things get misconstrued and venture into the "sensible/responsible use" approach. This community, as I do, believes firmly in responsibly using these compounds. In a sensible approach, while being responsible. The desire to lose weight/be healthier for yourself and loved ones should give you all the energy/motivation you need. THEN once your body is primed and has hit platuea to where you are no longer making improvements in training naturally, then comes in the AAS. You have it backwards and are still under the mentality of "magic pill" theory. I suggested blood work so you can at least know where you are currently at, as Anavar is notorious for skewing blood lipid values and tanking good cholesterol. I suggested TRT under doctor supervision at the very least, given your age (51) due to it making most sense, but you are stuck on "popping a pill".

At the rate you are on, if you hop on anavar now ...and work/diet hard like you should ...then what compound/drug/pill do you have at your arsenal next in line for when you platuea....which at some point, will eventually happen? Again, not trying to argue either, just trying to make you understand the "sensible/responsible" approach we/I firmly believe in and practice. If you were to do it, what are your plans for afterwards when you stop the anavar (which will happen whether you want to or not) and your test is shot all to hell and can't function in the bedroom and are having mental health issues ? Failing to plan, is planning to fail.

I appreciate this really... I'll take you advice and get a blood test.. what levels are good for my age?

Also as far as a plan... I was not planning on doing any more compounds. I was just planning on a one and done and then keep working out 100 natural .

When/If you get you blood work, it will show reference ranges normal/high/low based on your stats. The steroids realm is very rarely a one compound and done using kind of scenario. Now I have seen individuals use it and encounter negative sides that made them decide to not use again, then seen others who used and got such great results, it made them venture out into deeper use and trials. It is addicting in a way due to results attainable to those that's in some shape to begin with fitness wise...BUT it all starts with a natural foundation and basic knowledge of these compounds. It takes leg work and some research finding out what interests you based on your goals and creating a solid foundation to build upon.

Injuries are very common due to the fact that muscles are growing at such a fast rate that the tendons/ligaments aren't able to catch up, hence why it's recommended to get in shape and lift naturally THEN using the AAS. Diet and training will dictate the results, AAS just helps recovery time which in turn muscles grow stronger/bigger. Your goal of losing weight is very achievable and advised to do so naturally. The weight and fat will come off fast on a newly training individual. Once that has been done, fat loss becomes harder and thats when AAS come in handy. Its a marathon and not a sprint in every sense of the word and should not be taken lightly. Otherwise you just end up another steroid user who ends up with life altering negative side effects and then curses steroids and calls it the "devil's sweat/candies".

Anavar is not a fat burning pill. It will also shut down your natty production of test and then you will really be in a world of hurt and end up even worse then where you are now. Diet and exercise are your best friends at this point.
