Recovery Advice

ad

First, thanks to those of you that have helped me through PMs. I learned a lot from you!

I am a newbie looking to improve my recovery after running and bicycling. After a workout my legs feel dull and tired for a long time. I tried taking more time off between workouts, but I have to wait so long I start to lose fitness. I simply don't recover. It's very frustrating.

My anti aging doc put me on 12.5% test cream (1 gram a day) about a year ago. I'm still using it. I have had some marginal strength gains from it, but it does nothing for me recovery-wise. Then I tried Sermorelin. It helped me lose some weight but that's about it. The prescription is also very expensive. I couldn't justify it for the limited benefits it was providing me. So I am now on some Chinese HGH (the doc won't prescribe hgh). I'm one week in and still at 2ius a day. I know it takes a while to feel the effects, but there are no sides. I'm almost disappointed that I'm not getting welts from the injection (sermorelin gave me an itchy rash). I will continue to ramp up slowly, but hopefully I'm not shooting sugar water.

Besides the test cream and hgh, is there something else I should be looking into?

Thanks in advance for your help/advice

get bloodwork tested. Check yourself for vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Check in with a dietician or nutritionist to work on your diet. All of these things should have been done prior to going the medical route, prescribed by a doctor or self prescribed. Lastly, make sure the "hgh" you're using is actually hgh.

You can get your blood work done to see where your gh levels are or send a vial in to be tested which is the only absolute way to know exactly what you have. I didn't start getting sides for about 30day's at 2iu and from reading the reviews, some people that ramp up slowly don't get sides at all or minimal.
