+ 1 IGF Lab Results
Hey Everyone,
I took an IGF test in Oct, prior to starting any HGH so I have a baseline. You can see in this chart my baseline was 203 ng/mL. I started taking 2 IUs in the am ED and after 3 days I decided to up it to 4 IUs, split into 2 IUs am and 2 IUs either post-workout or pm before bed (depending on schedule). At the 1 week mark I decided to get IGF tested again 3 hrs after injection (while fasted). I was hoping for 250-275 ng/mL just to see it was legit. To my surprise it came back at 429 ng/mL just after one week, with half the week doing just 2 IUs.
HOWEVER, I'm almost at the two week mark and I'm absolutely covered in welts. I'm trying to do this without my spouse knowing, due to us being in an early stage of divorce, but it's tough to even change in the same room with all of these welts. I was going to just throw this away because I thought it was bunk and my body is rejecting it.
This is my first time using HGH, so I'm looking for further advice on if I should continue or if these welts are not a good sign?
Thanks everyone!

Welts fairly common with this brand like Nattyb said. If you can't deal with the welts you will have to switch brands. Not much you can do about it. Need to delete brand name in title or move post to pic section. No Sources/brands in open forum.
Thank you for fixing the title - I apologize for the source drop. I knew I could post a name somewhere, but wasn't sure where. I'm relieved to hear the welts are not a serious problem.
I do not plan on getting the HGH quality tested though and as I stated, this is my first time on HGH, so I can't even give an opinion on if these levels are due to a good response or the quality.
For clarity, I just looked at my log and I did 4 complete days on 2 IUs in the am. On day 5 I started 2 IUs in the am and 2 IUs before bed. On the third day of 4 IUs I did the last IGF test that came back at 429 3 hrs and 5 mins post sub-q.
Ngl, I probably won't go back to 2 IUs until I taper off 4-5 months from now. However, even at 2 IUs the sleep started to be noticeably better and lethargy was setting in through the day.
This morning was the first time I have had high blood sugar levels. It came in at 103 fasted. I'm planning to go TABOO BANNABLE TOPIC. Will probably start with 6-7 IUs and see how I feel and what the number comes back as tomorrow morning.
Watch yourself; that's twice now. READ THE RULES. Next time I won't be so forgiving.

Take slin pills to control glucose, they work great. The main ingredient is berberine.
STOP. Stay away from that. That is going to do more harm than good. that is the last thing you want to be touching. I find it hard to believe that 2 wks on GH would raise blood suger levels that high. Talk to your doc about prediabetes before doing anything.
Will do. It usually isn't that high. It's typically in the 80-90 range. Thank you!
Ok @Makwa so let me try to understand. So half the week at 2iu and other half of week at 4iu resulted in 429ng/mL which is good. By looking at those numbers what would just 2iu look like?...300ng? Just wondering. If base line is 200ng then would a 100ng increase make a slight difference? Maybe better for longevity right?
A jump of an additional 100ng over baseline would be beneficial. The only thing about longevity or long-term use of exoginous HGH is the insulin resistance that could develop with higher doses long term. 4iu really isn't that high of a dose and I wouldn't really worry about insulin resistance at that dose so I would opt for 4iu with doubling of baseline and really reap the benefits. Cost is the other issue. Could save a buck or two running 3iu and still get some overall positive benefits.
that's kinda what I was thinking. 3IU wouldn't be so bad. Especially if you get a good IGF score like this guy using this brand of GH. It's either him of his GH lol. Maybe both!
Up to a certain point you can pretty much count on around 100 IGF for every 1iu for the average joe. it seems to be that after 4iu or so the climb in levels really seems to hit a ceiling and the boost to IGF really tapers off. More of a bell curve and not linear at that point. So around 400 on that dose is not unheard of and is really good. High 300's on that dose would probably be more common so couple of things likely going on here. He could just respond great to HGH supplementation and/or really good GH. 1 wk is pretty soon to get a test so I would almost expect the numbers to still climb a bit over the next week or so.
score is good already and might get better over the next week...yea must be good GH or a good responder. And yea I always figured with GH there seemed to be a point of diminishing returns as far as increased dosing. That's why it's strange seeing guys blast to the moon with GH! Ok 1IU usually results in 100 IGF increase, gotcha.
If you look at a lot of bloodwork you will see about a 100point jump with each iu. It would be intersting to see where the op tests at 2iu.
What I was wondering. Over 300 I reckon.
This used to be an issue with this brand of HGH specifically. There is a chance for an inflammatory reaction to any formulation of growth, depending on what is used for stabilizers, dimer count, etc., but this brand has a history of this and it seems to effect a fairly high percentage of users.
Thank you for sharing! A high d-dimer is pretty serious. I don't recall having symptoms of a higher dimer, unless this inflammation on injection sites is one of them. You might have scared me enough to get it tested though haha
Are most people just continuing their protocol despite this reaction? I haven't read about anyone using any supplement(s) to counter this reaction, so if you know of any I'd love to hear it!
