HGH (negative) side effects/Heart Palpitations
I am wondering if anyone else using HGH has had any problems with heart palpitations. I am about 3 monts in to kigs from ehealthpll.com and I am getting crazy heart spazms/ palpitations. I quit taking the HGH for 2 days and they got alot better. Then I took some more and they got worse. I am 4 days off now and none today, so it has to be the HGH. I should mention that I have pinned high doses of b12 lately and I think it might be contributing to the problem. The paplitations started after a 22 mile run one day and lasted for almost 2 weeks now. This really sucks and I am just wondering if anyone else has had this or knows if maybe this is related to T3 or T4 in anyway so that maybe I can correct. This is the only side I have had to this point. I have taken no T4 or AAS with the HGH.

I've been taking Kigtropin for around a year now then switch to Jintropin because it seemed to be losing it's effectiveness with 2.5iu's per day. I recently tried switching to some Hygetropin and my body could NOT take the side effects. I started having some shaking fits with my heart racing and cold sweats that seemed to be timed around in twenty minute intervals that would go for five to ten minute durations. My blood pressure went from normal 120/70 with a 60 pulse to around 150/90 with an 88 pulse rate. I had to stop taking this stuff completely and started drinking tons of water to try and flush this stuff out of my system. It took around five days to start feeling normal again and three days were without sleeping because of the intermittent heart racing problem. Now I can't take any brand of GH for fear of unwanted side effects and think this might be because my system is starting to build antibodies that work against this stuff?
I confused t-3 with "t-3 uptake". Apparently I shouldn't play Doctor. With the T-4 being a little lower and the TSH being a little higher...it appears that I would be closer to hypo than hyper. The t-3 uptake is high, but I'm not quite sure what, if anything, that indicates. I'll grab some t-4 and wait on my test as suggested originally. Here is a shot of my test:

Got my thyroid lab back. It showed very high t4. Out of range by 2%. That is what is causing the PVC's. Any suggestions on how to get t4 down?
tread-mAre you sure you were "high" on T-4? The reason I ask is the way you were using hgh with no test even though you couldnt make the higher balance in the axis you may still have made enough of a higher balance to suppress T-4 which might show a high T-3 result in comparison to expected values.....T-4 or T-3 , both? If they did a standard TSH and your TSH was low then that would mean likely both T-3 and T-4 were high or normal and hyperthyrodism or another range of low TSH could be low or normal T-4 and T-3 (non-thyroidal illness, rare pituitary hypothyroidism).....now before you get scared, I think discontinuing the hgh use as you have will allow levels to become normal but I would follow up with another panel in 60 days or so to get on top of it. It is so important to use these compounds properly brother and I know you know that now. Notice though the second part I mentioned above is directly related to the pituitary which is where a large portion of your natty growth comes from. So the use of high end hgh could have caused a negative feed back loop and created these issues. Either way it hasnt been years of misuse or abuse so I'm hopeful you will return to normal soon and think you will.
Anonyour doc didn't talk to you about hyperthyroidism? I gather he may have said go rub some dirt on it..
tread-mWait a minute, you told me that worked, I've been doing that for months!
Anonit does work!!!
Dr. did an EKG and found it to be premature ventricular contractions (PVC's). This only has to do with the electrical impulses to the heart, rather than a problem with the heart itself. Electrical impulses could be affected by medications (hGH), caffeine, electrolytes (Potassium, Magnesium, etc), B vitamins, adrenaline, etc. Told me not to worry about it and called me "disgustingly healthy". I get the Thyroid panel results back tomorrow.
@hrdbdygrrrrrrl Wasn't taking any thyroid hormones...only hGH. @JOEDIEZ Point well taken @tread-m Taking your suggestions Thanks all!
AnonHow much Thyroid are you taking? If you have too much in your system you will definetely have heart palpitations.. did you get a blood panel before you started taking it to see how much you should take? If you are taking T3 only you want to switch to T4 because it is the conversion of T4 to T3 that completes the process and the interaction with the HGH not just the presence of T3..
When I quit, I was taking 2/3rds (6.6IU's) of a bottle a day. I split it between morning and evening doses. Can't afford to see a Dr. so I'll just take some time off.
tread-mSWING MY GUESS IS you have enough test naturally to accomodate about 3 iu's smooth but its a guess and everyone is different. You could be causing a negaative feed back not being able to make the balance e en though the body is discarding a lot. See the doc man, find a way or find a free clinic and get some bloods done specific to test, estrogen and igf-1 as well as normal panel. Just lay off a bit brother. You could potentially have suppressed T-4 and T-3 do to the lack of one to convert to the other and even have your insulin output suppressed. Improper use can be dangerous. Joe nailed it, we dko this for our health and as an athlete yours is very important to you.
agree
i am sorry and dont mean to tell you your business but if you can afford gear you can afford a doctor visit. NEVER let your self believe you can not afford to take care of yourself. isnt that why we use gear inthe first place??? for a healthier lifestyle?? see your doc and be up front with him if he has preconcieved ideas about gear find another one. I tell me doc what im doing. his job is to treat me not judge me. but you take care of you and dont make excuses not to bro.
tread-mThere is something going on swing. I know you are in very good shape so I will ask again, how much hgh are you taking? I know you were not ru nning test and at 2 or 3 iu's I'm ok with it but if running higber, yes you can be stalling the hormones somewhere and even insulin production through a negative feed back loop....several of us combined can help find some answers for you through collective knowledge but I would definately urge you to see your doctor and stop all b12 and supps along with hgh until you are evaluated brother. Safe is the way to go here until you get some answers.
