HGH and balancing the HPTA
Tread is our go to guy in the field of HGH as he has passed down plenty of knowledge to me and others on the subject. I didnt see a topic about this and instead of always pm ing tread i thought the knowledge may be better shared along with others that also may be able to comment on the topic.
With doing gear for about 8 years now i am glad to have found a site that taught me so much in what i was doing. My biggest thing to date was going and having my blood work done to determine different levels. One of the biggest thing stressed with HGH is balancing the HPTA and Levels of testosterone needed to go alone with your use of HGH.
My biggest question is still the amount needed to balance the hpta.
-
Does it have to do with free levels or overall levels of test in the body?
-
must those levels be from straight test or derivatives of test like anavar, tren, winny etc.?
-
What levels are good to support each IU of hgh?
For example i was told a healthy strong testosterone male can support up to 2 iu's of hgh with no extra test supplementation. I currently have free levels of 75 ng/ml which are well over 3 to 5 times the normal male and im on 6iu's of hgh. Does this mean im supporting my hpta?
The reason i ask is because with everything balanced and knowing my batch of hgh gave my gf all the side effects plus when i jumped from 2 to 5 iu's i got major lethargy, why havent i gotten the sides like carpal tunnel? Was it because i slowly increased 1 iu each week or every other? Is my body adjusted? Or is my level of test off?
These are some of the major questions i believe we are all concerned with when doing HGH the correct way.

tread-mI wish it were as easy as an equation or specific ML vs IU etc. While there are general guidelines they are simply a start place and bloods have to be. your guide to the balance. You could likely take 100 people into a study and begin with a specific protocol as to hgh/test and come up with 100 different variations and some having positive feedback loop for thyroid at the tsh level some having negative some in the perfect range for T3/4 and tsh. Many would have higher levels of free test vs lower igf-1 and the opposite. Balance is a relative thing and unlike hormones such as thyroid or estrogen or even shbg there is no exact number we are looking for.
Just last year they raised the avg norm range for test which means they are now figuring out a higher test level seems to be desired. "They" being an elite few because the Doc community is way behin when it comes to balance in hormones because the vast majority still have this "normal for your age" thought process.
The main point is that for test and igf-1 we don't have this exact number and the acceptable range is so wide. So having said so and knowing we are all different and all going to respond differently to exact protocols, you simply have to follow the blood work and couple it with your results in achievment as well as how you feel and find the paydirt. It is frustrating I know but it is there. Just takes time and even so it too has a wide range of possibilities. You may personally achieve and feel great anywhere within a 500 point range in the good zone with test where someone else has to dial it in much closer to an exact place. Genetics play a huge roll in that if you are a big guy already you will likely achieve with a wider range of variance. If you are smaller and trying to get bigger you will likely have to find a higher range or exceed the top acceptable numbers and dial in everything much better than the guy with great genetics. Great genetics speaking specifically for the purpose of building meaning the structure for that goal.
I know thats not what you wanted to hear but it is just that, follow the bloods/achievement to the answers. If you find you achieve at a certain place and feel good then don't fight the numbers as long as they are healthy in all hormone areas. Meaning such as you don't want your tsh through the roof even if thyroid is relatively normal. You would tweak the T3/4 to cause the positive feedback from being too high etc. At some point you will find paydirt and even though it will change over time, it will be much easier to change with it once you find your zones.
