Surgery recovery
ad
I've recently discovered that i Have a hernia so i'm going to need surgery to repair it. I would like to take peptides such as bpc-157 and tb-500 to help the recovery process and ensure the hernia is not aggravated again when i return to working out. Are there any other peptides that would be better for this type of recovery? I would also appreciate if you guys have any recommendations for dosages of the peptides i will need to use.

Hgh...
Nothing that gets you that "heal your body like Wolverine" marketing BS, but I had a hernia repair about 5 years ago. Man, that was no fun. I did use BPC-157, TB-500 and some Mod GRF 1-29 / Ipamorelin combo. I feel like it helped, not hugely but every little bit helps. The surgeon was amazed at the progress I was making. Anyhow, add some HGH and maybe some NPP and be gtg
Note: as I typed this out, I realized that it is almost identical to thorny's recommendation. I guess we could both be morons, and at any rate I'm not a doctor, but this protocol seemed to work for me.
A couple of things to note about hernia repair, based on my personal experience. After surgery on the day of, you will think you feel fine. Don't listen, your body if friggin' lying to you, that's the surgery meds talking. Get out in front of the pain. If they do it laproscopically, expect pain at the 4 to 5 sites where they go in. Expect crazy ass pain in those spots anytime you sneeze, cough hard, or in my case when ummm... "Cy Junior went to the circus"... "pop went the weasel".. eh, when you bust one, expect it to hurt. A lot. That will go on for about 2 to 4 weeks. Firmly bracing those spots will help. Take it easy, ease back into your routine and Do. Not. Rush. Things.
pain when the swimmers start the race!?!? why have i never seen anything about this that's the worst news i've received so far!
anvilThese peptides will not help you recover from a hernia surgery. Wound and tissue repair are what they do best, not much more. Your best bet is to look up Vigorous Steve on YT he has healing stack galore rather then take the word of a guy been here 3 days and is answering every single post here as if that does something. I had double hernia repair, swimmers did effect anything because by the time you are ready to even wanna try that you need to be fully healed. Anavar and HGH are a very good answer to this.
Dang! What did you do and how long was THAT recovery? Did the surgeon give you a break?
Oh and for doses of BPC-157 and TB-500, I settled on 500mcg and 1mg daily, respectively, in a single shot. I went up to as much as 200mcg each on the ModGrf / Ipamorelin, but felt a little light headed for a few minutes after that. I personally didn't find any benefit to site injection, but I can't swear that it doesn't help.
Good Advice buddy!
Man, I have never hurt as much as I did when I sneezed / "hit the mountain top" like 4 days after surgery. Thought I had torn something. They kind of tell you that could be a problem, but my surgeon at least did NOT prep me for the scale of that sh!t! l promise you it is no joke lol
I've known quite a few people over the years get hernias from lifting weights - On the leg press, doing deadlifts with no belt, sneezing - one friend even did it shagging his girlfriend!!! LMAO He left it for years and you could see the bloody thing pertruding through his groin about to rupture it was awful!!
For elbow tendon surgery that I had, on top of my TRT I chose to run BPC+TB (2x day, injected next to site), HGH (2-3 IU nightly), 100 mg/week IM of NPP, and Anavar (titrate up to 50 mg/day, 6 weeks max), all as part of my recovery. Each have their own known roles in promoting healing, collagen synthesis, joint health, etc etc. I am absolutely positive it helped get me back in the gym, and the tennis court, well ahead of schedule.
The few people I know that had that surgery was back to regular activity in a couple of weeks. I don't think bpc is needed but not sure lol. I have a lower hernia for over 5 years, and no surgery needed yet. good luck
