EPO Question.
ad
Just received a batch of EPO 3000iu ready-ject syringes. The source insisted that they did not need refrigeration, but as suspected the label indicates that they should be stored at between 2 - 8 celcius. Does anyone know how long EPO remains potent at room temperature? Hoping that I haven't just wasted my hard earned.

I have used liquid EPO after storing it in room temparature for about a month, and it wasnt any less potent earlier batches I kept in the fridge
If it contains HSA then you may be able to get away with storing at room temps.

How did the EPO work out for you? Did you test to see if it rose your RBC level?
I use to take bioyetin which came as a liquid and it stays pretty well at room temp for month and usually past the expiration date too. Although I'd pay $200 for 6 vials @ 4000iu but the stuff works.
AnonThe pre-filled syringes didn't do shit, must have degraded in transit. Also no guarantee the source stored them cold. Bought some powdered EPO and that worked well.
Who did you buy he pre-filled syringes from? And where did you buy the powder form from?
Wish I'd seen this earlier so that I could have posted my experience. Many Chinese suppliers ship without cold packs and this has made me wonder how they store the stuff prior to shipping. No doubt there is some degredation but it still works well. However, I do prefer freeze dried rather than pre-filled syringes because the former is more stable when at room temp.
I'd really like to know how you got with your EPO and wondered if you could send me some info. I will send you a friend request or you can email me. [email protected]
thanks.
You have to take large amounts of iron while taking EPO. If you don't the EPO will eat up all of your iron and you'll be worse off than before. How often are you testing your HCT?
Anonare you also supplementing with iron? I understand from some other sources that without the extra iron EPO is a waste..
Its not really a waste unless you're taking extremely high doses in one sitting. For instance if you took 24,000iu in one day, then in 10 days it would "hit" you like a freight train and you would feel slow and lethargic. If you took 4,000iu over a 6 day period then your body would have time to build up and adapt. Iron would help but with a slow build up there shouldn't be complications unless your already anemic.
AnonMy serum ferritin is already at the upper limit of reference range, so probably no need with any initial EPO use. Although I would keep an eye on it, as as you quite rightly say, EPO use does generally require iron levels to be maintained. The main thing that's concerning me is does my fricken stash actually have any potency after it's room temp journey from China? Unfortunately I have serious doubts. Suppose I will just have to inject it to find out.
Would you so kind as to tell me your current hemocratic level, your desired level and how many iu's it will take you to get to your desired level? I have heard everything for 4000ius=1% increase to 12000ius=1% increase.
Thanks!
AnonMy hematocrit was just tested at 39.4%. Way too low. Will probably rise a little over the coming weeks as I've just upped my TRT dose. Would like to see it rise to the mid to high 40's. I've got 30,000iu's in the fridge, will probably do 3000iu, mon, wed, fri until it's done, then get re-tested to get an indication of the response before doing any more.
AnonI have no copy and paste data on this. I have come to trust that even HGH has a window of acceptable temperature above refrigeration for up to 30 days if not over 68F. I usually purchase all my HGH during winter(cold) months to avoid sitting in the heat somewhere too long.
If the manufacturer indicates 2-8 there's a reason. I didn't answer your question but I'd expect some degrading of the product has occurred. Could be minimal so I'd run it and see.
Hope this helps.
BTW man.....I cannot get off grains without losing "fullness".
AnonThanks for your response Dr. A. What concerns me most is that the EPO in the ready-ject syringe is obviously a pre-mixed solution, so likely won't be nearly as stable as a powder. Sure seems to be hard to find any data on this. Unfortunately the package insert is in Chinese!
Give them a vote if you find it helpful.PermalinkI used eprex prefilled syringes that I received from China, the pack took 4days to get to me with EMS ,and the effect was as it should be.
Please could you email or pm me a good source, trying to find a reliable supplier.
Thanks man.
hi- did you end up finding a good source? im also in the same boat, but i see this discussion is over a year old.
I would like to know about this Eprex from China. I will also send you a friend request or you can drop me an email: [email protected]
AnonThanks that helps. Sent you a friend request, got a few questions for you, will PM you when you accept. Cheers.
