test and healing injuries
ad
I banged up my ankle a couple of weeks ago trail running. I am waiting for the mri results but my doc is thinking a very small fracture and ligament tendon damage. its been about 3 weeks and it is feeling a little better but still a long way to go. depending on what the mri shows it is looking like 10 weeks. I am on doc script trt at 200/week.my endo doc is vey cool and gave me a pretty generous script for test. if i up my weekly dose to 400/week for a few weeks then go back down to my normal dose will that help speed up the healing? Or anything else that will help heal a little faster. i was thinking extra calcium supps. I am 49 and 5'9" 165 around 9%. thanks for any help

@bill123, good luck brother!
thanks for the advice everyone. looks like I will stay at trt dose and wait it out.
No, stay at 200mgs, at that dose it will help with collagen synthesis and healing, when you go above that dose the opposite occurs, tenders become more brittle and are more prone to injury. Do some reasearch on google on test doses for healing, all will say 200mgs or less and more will do the opposite.
Im reading this as im laying on the couch with 1 broken ankle and the other has 2 tendon tears. Happened 7 weeks ago. The broken ankle is healing faster than the torn tendons.. Look up tb500 its a peptide that someone recoomened to me and i believe its helping.. I was on cycle when this happened and my doctor told me to stop until they figured out if they needed to operate or not
And 1 more thing that helped was soaking my ankles in EPSOM SALT warm water
We're not getting any younger ankle injuries can last a long time and take a while to heal. I tore some ligaments in my ankle back in 2009 jumping on a trampoline till this day it is not the same. I would just stick with the doc prescribed TRT dose, adding more tests which will make you stronger could cause you to hurt yourself I would take it easy and listen to your doctor.
