Considering self prescribed TRT, insight/advice?

ad

male/21/80kg(176lbs)/training ~3 years.

First time posting in the over 40 & TRT forum so apologies if this is the wrong section or format, still learning.

I've been experiencing symptoms of low T for over a year, and have multiple blood tests showing everything as "healthy", but my Total Test at 12 nmol/L(345.8213 ng/dL) and free test at .34 nmol/L(9.8 ng/dL).

Unfortunately for me, multiple doctors (3) that i've seen have said that its not low enough to qualify to TRT, and that because im so young (21), no sane doc will be willing to get me joocy.

I've tried all the usual dietary changes, Vitamin D supplementation, 8+ hours of sleep a night, regular exercise in addition to my regular weight training, but the tests aren't improving (actually getting worse, could just be coincidence though), and neither are my experiences with lethargy, intermittent depression, stress, concentration, little to no libido, lucky to wake up with wood once a fortnight.

Basically, it looks like i could either try to lower my levels intentionally to produce blood test results that would put me super low, low enough to warrant medical intervention (although by the sounds of it that will still be unlikely at my age), or self prescribe TRT (which while illegal, wouldn't be the end of the world).

Pretty unpleasant situation, and im sure there are options or perspectives that i've overlooked, so im really just hoping to hear some opinions or similar experiences.

Cheers,

bogdog.

Your on the cusp of needing TRT http://www.nebido.com/tools/index.php/en/default/index/conversion-tool
I would get a TRT doc and/or describe to your doctor the low T symptoms you are having and stress to him that things are not right the way they are.

Ask your General Practitioner to recommend you to a gastroenterologist.

According to what I have read and the last doctor I visited your test should be much higher for your age. I am 36 and according to my research and doctor my test level should be in the range of 600 to 800. Mine was 243. Doc prescribed test c 200 mg every 2 weeks. It just takes finding the right doc. Try a specialist.

Do you have a lot of body hair?
Is your voice deep?
can you build muscle without much difficulty?
If your answer to these questions is no, then PERSOALLY, I'd get on the juice.
But that's just me.

I'm actually hairy as fuck, body hair, beard, cock and balls looks like they're covered in steel wool, but my voice has always been relatively high and boyish, and my muscular development is less than stellar.
