The last episode was just lazy writing if you ask me , they try so hard to be unpredictable with the show, the sad part it is it has become predictably unpredictable if that makes any since.

I felt a small smile come on seeing Podrick become a Knight at the end.

I particularly didn't enjoy how they slow walked everything... the whole thing could have been cut down to 1/2 hour without cutting a thing.
The first 30 minutes had almost zero words spoken. They quit the writing in episode 3 of this season. Only good part was Sansa. Homegirl deserved becoming queen after what she went through

They could have done a better job I will agree but I thought the ending was decent. Who amongst us thought Bran would be crowned? Also both of our heroes met sad fates, which is the way GOT has always been.
Vegas knew it would be bran as he was the betting favorite. Just didn't know how. All I'm saying is the ending was underwhelming when the whole series was overwhelming for the most part
I agree this season left a lot to be desired. I think it all just felt rushed which created far too many plot holes. Even the end. They skip right past how and when they all found out Dany was gone. How would they even have known Jon did it, etc. And realistically it would have been all out war right then one would think..
Yeah that is the one thing I'm most disappointed about. Dany dies the dragon freaks out and melts the throne and flies away with her. The next thing comes up and I'm like tyrions beard has gotten long. Wtf. Where did all these people come from. She just got done burning the city. Like greyworm isn't gonna behead Jon right there like he was killing people in the streets. Definitely rush d way too much. But it still is my favorite series of all time despite the ending

They also filmed like six different endings so no one would know which one they chose. I also read that most of the cast didn't like how it ended as well
