+ 1 When TROLLS attack!
I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm feeling a bit jaded and not very inspired to jump in and help these days. The TROLL PATROL seems in full force lately. I pop into a thread and see quality members wasting their time on (what I detect) as an obvious TROLL. I've even started giving input when after 3 or 4 back and forths I recognize it's just some idiot amusing himself thinking he is clever, smarter or whatever these pathetic losers gain from the experience. We even have a longstanding SUPER TROLL that for some reason few seem to recognize.
HOW TO SPOT A TROLL:
1.) Brand new member, no stats, comes off like a nieve noobie but slips up with some piece of info that someone with no fundamentals would know.
2.) Brand new member, serious stats or ridiculous stats and baits members into confrontation or slobbers all over your dick on how knowledgable you are.
3.) Sleeper Accts: Long time member with low karma with little or only recent participation on the board (you can track from there profile)
4.) The obvious douce bag OR a ridiculous cycle
These are just a few tools to spot TROLLS. Mostly it just comes from experience and you'll start to recognize them. The only real defense is to NOT entertain them.

I vote yes on troll control. Either appoint a troll patrol or we can take it upon ourselves to just reply (TROLL) so that no one else will waste their time responding to these A holes. Lets not let this website become a waste site.

Nice post H. I will usually give someone looking for information the benefit of the doubt the first time around as that is what we are to do help. But once the stupid questions start flying I call it quits.
It's pretty easy to spot them! They normally use all caps! They spell everything wrong and there members for like 2hrs!!!

finally!!!! i was thinking about putting something up like this the other night, I got on and saw 3 ppl posting up "winter cycles" that judging from there non-stats and extensive use lol that consisted of almost nothing they all of a sudden become pros and have the knowledge of giving dieting advive. I had to get off when the kid brought up micro nutrients, lol but for real it is getting to be to much, my advice to all you trolls- BEFORE YOU CAN BUILD A HOUSE, YOU NEED A GOOD FOUNDATION.
