+ 5 What does gay even mean?
ad
Ok brethren and sisters of Eroids
There seems to have been some confusion amongst the community on what we define as gay. I’ve seen a variety of claims stating it’s only gay if you make eye contact, cross swords or even align in a particular political party, enjoy a certain food or movie genre. These recent polls have somewhat created some confusion amongst the community and I feel it’s best to decide right here and now what we even mean by gay. Let us look at the actual definition and history briefly:
Gay" describes people who are physically, romantically, and/or emotionally attracted to people of the same sex or gender, most commonly referring to men attracted to men
What if I told you that this term only came up in the late 17th century.
”Male homosexuality as we now know it is an 18th-century invention, but nonexclusive same-sex sexual behavior has a long evolutionary history. According to the alliance-formation hypothesis, same-sex sexuality evolved by natural selection because it created or strengthened male-male alliances and allowed low-status males to reposition themselves in the group hierarchy and thereby increase their reproductive success.”
So it seems it was an evolutionary strategy but the point is it’s been a common method of practice amongst our species since the dawn of our existence. We often spend time on here frequently viewing our same sex physiques and giving props probably more often than looking at people of the opposite sex. Throughout my time here, I’ve also seen more transsexual porn stars than female porn stars and anyone would be lying if they haven’t been click baited in watching a scene or two but does this make one gay? They’re altered to trick our senses into mimicking the traits of a suitable mate. If you arrive to the conclusion of what the persons gender is but your senses have been tricked into thinking female, are you gay? If you’re on Tren and allow your animal instincts to gain total control and go all the way, is this indeed gay?
The very schools or religious institutions that have defined and condemn these actions have more sexual scandals on them that epitomizes hypocrisy. So any stance that is contracting, I tend to disclaim their validity.
Another stance from French philosopher
“Michel Foucault argued that "homosexuality" as a specific identity didn't exist until the 19th century; it was a medical/psychiatric construct (the "homosexual") created through discourse, power, and classification, rather than a natural category, making sexuality fluid and socially constructed, not simply repressed, with "coming out" itself a form of confession that solidifies identity. He proposed a "homosexual askésis" or "care of the self" as a way of life, emphasizing intense friendship, pleasure, and self-mastery, challenging norms rather than just lifting prohibitions. “
Finally, my stance is I believe instinctually we are all “Gay” but through our habits, routines, food consumption, literature, mental constructs and traditions form our perceptions on sexuality or anything for that matter. My stance is there’s a fine line of hedonistic behavior which I believe leads to a path of self destructive nihilism so I hone my desires and try to take an Asceticism approach which is the denial of earthly pleasures. Not too far but reading some of Schopenhauers quotes really stuck with me. Especially when he has said “Man faces an endless cycle of desire and discontentment.”
I myself, would never want to be sexually dominated, nor dominate others for the mere sake of pleasure. I pursue love based pleasure as i feel “perhaps imagine even” its everlasting state of gratifying euphoria. I need an emotional bond or entanglement prior to the pursuit of pleasure. Are we not an evolved species ? If we pursue for the mere sake of sexual gratification, what separates us from animal or beast? It is part of our nature to be bestial, yes. But are the bonds we share as human beings that stem from love, part of a transitional stage of evolving into a higher form?
Perhaps time will tell, perhaps altering our Tren dose will reveal more about ourselves than we’ve been led to believe. Perhaps how we lick our ice creams or toppings we choose are meaningless. It’s a great time to be alive!!!
Love you all

How about; Even if you’re not gay, you’re gay. I check out people constantly, including dudes, all the time because I can admire a fine specimen or interesting figure; however it does nothing to get me aroused in any sexual manner, in any capacity. Although I have contemplated about how much easier life would be if I was void of the obsession, desire, and necessity for the female form; and swung the other way.
Everything is gay, and nothing is gay.
This summarized my essay to a T. Before anyone points at another, I want them to do a thorough analysis within themselves.
Male gay definition
1. Look at another male and get movement
2. Have kissed, fondled, hugged more than 10sec or sex with any guy
3. Throw overhand punches
4. Screams when scared
5. Wear womens clothing, or makeup
6. A fake forced lisp or high pitch voice
7. Gossip and spread rumors
8. Your male friends dont invite you on trips unless its with couples.
9. Run like Forest Gump
The 9 identifiers that trigger my gaydar
None of that is gay if you wear socks or say no homo before such activities
Funny story, im with my AA home group doing a commitment at a halfway house. Im talking about the group of guys im with, "i love these guys, no homo" and i guess one of the counselors was gay and offended. Stormed out the room and we were barred from speaking there. I tried to explain it wasnt used derogatory but i guess just saying "homo" is bad
Thats because they are insecure and or take everything personal. If they can't take a joke or think everything is about them, then I don't want to be around them anyways. I want to be around people who can make fun of themselves and other topics and just have a good time. I do not want to be around someone that I have to walk on egg shells whenever they are around.
Keep it under 10 seconds at a time. Got it.
lol! Number 8 is a fact!
Forgot to add
10. Active on Facebook. (For womens and teens only) (Not having a profile but being active on it)
I agree on many of these and something like the overhand pinch or forced high pitch pushes the spectrum of being gay. There’s not a solid definitive stance on what makes one objectively gay but it’s rather our idea of gay and what is socially exhibited as being gay that makes it. At this point, we’re just complicating things until we invent a behavioral trait that makes us gayer.
3 phases
1. Boldly gay
2. Hiding the gay
3. Gay but dont know it but we know it
Lol
I would say your phases cover a significant portion of the population. There should also be a 4th option of “not gay but on Tren.”
Tren Gay. You just coined a new term
