Weather affecting workout

ad

How does weather affect your workout? Living in cali, the sun totally fucks up my workout by making me overheat and dehydrated. It also seems to do unhealthy things to my heart...
much rather workout in winter season.

I don't like the heat anyways. The gym I lift in is a hole in the wall, but they do have a.c.. I get a big psychological boost to my workouts when it is raining and the back doors to my gym r open, water dripping in buckets laying around the gym, chalk lazily floating in the air,and serious lifters leaving nothing behind for the next guy to pick up.

I hate the heat mate. when it gets over 35°c here i cant eat, sweat 24/7 and if i dont run the aircon all night i barely sleep.
And the worst part... when i go for a shit i get so sweaty that i almost slip off the seat haha

I agree, i'm from new york and i hate working out in the summer especially in the gym where i work cause they don't turn on the AC. Cheap bastards, they'll do anything to save money. What i try to do then is work out late at night, when the gym is nearly empty but i still try to keep my workouts 45-55 minutes in the summer. Short and intense. In the winter about 60-90 minutes and i have way more energy and better workouts.

Nothing really temperature wise since I workout in doors, but days when it rains I hate walking to the gym. 3miles round trip in the rain isn't very nice. By the time you get there, your socks and shoes are drenched along with all of your clothes. If I wouldn't have a locker there with a change of clothes, it'd be safe to say I wouldn't go when it rained. Ohio here so the next two months should be next to nothing but rain.
