+ 1 Cosmetic tips for people on cycle.

ad

Hey I wanted to give my advice on people who get acne on their face/body while on cycle.

  1. Use an astringent toner as the skin tends to get more oily on cycle(?)
Witch Hazel is an all natural astringent and works really well in keeping the skin dry and clean(usually comes with about 10% alcohol)

ATTENTION: USE A MOISTURIZER THAT IS FREE OF FRAGRANCE/ETC. CERAVE IS A DERMATOLOGIST RECOMMENDED MOISTURIZER FOR PEOPLE WITH ACNE. HAPPY GRRL? Smile

  1. Kojic acid soap - This soap is really good for keeping the skin dry, and it also brightens/whitens the skin and exfoliates very well. It is mainly used in asian countries where the females who wanted a lighter skin tone would use this soap.
ATTENTION:since most of our faces are darker than our bodies this would even out skin tone.

http://www.amazon.com/Kojie-San-Skin-Lightening-Soap/dp/B005R3IPJI/ref=s... <- you can buy it here.

  1. Retin-A This topical gel is used for wrinkles and getting rid of acne very fast. Brings out all the stuff that is stuck in your pores and increases cell regeneration/collagen production. (This stuff is usually doctor prescribed for people with really bad acne). Can be purchased at alldaychemist.com very cheap.
ATTENTION:Use this only at night because it leaves the skin vulnerable and very sensitive to sun-light. Using a .025 or .05 probably would be best unless you have severe acne.

These are some things you can use without any side effects compared to accutane or other orals. Hope it helped Smile

My back and shoulders lookin like a damn war zone. I figured it woulda cleared up by now. I'm starting to wonder if human grade would be easier on the acne. I ordered a bunch of iranians for my cruising in the future, cause I've been cruising for a couple months and figured it woulda cleared by now. I can't even wear sleaveless or stringers in the gym. I've been looking around for that sulfer soap, I'll have to check the herb shop. Epsom salt baths, nuetrogena facial cleanser on the shoulders and back and still notta.

I'll order some up, thanks bro. I'm at the point where I will try just about anything. I was contemplating accutane even though I know there's a plethera of side effects, but after reading tryptamines post I'm sold against that.

Me too. I always had some acne on my back all the way up to my mid 40's. Then it suddenly started to clear up; and skin dry out. When I'm on cycle it's like I'm a youthful 45 again. I'm wondering if that'd be the time my natural T levels started dropping off the low end of the scale.

i use some cream that has placenta in it for spot treatment. made in a village. not even kidding... hard to get that stuff. have had acne since i very young. i realized u have to balance your face out. u cant get a face wash that is too harsh. it'll dry u out too much and make your problem even worse. moisturizer is essential. cant have it be too heavy. I use Anthony logistics glycolic cream cleanser (glycolic acid is great for wrinkles). and jack black double duty moisturizer with spf. everyone thinks im 4yrs younger. still get ID'ed at the bar.

True dat, I've been getting a little sun, so that should help some. Backne sucks cause all the old guys at the gym seem to know what that means. They start askin if your on the protein juice and stuff like oh your skin looks shiny. I've tried astringents, but not straight witch hazel, maybe that'll help. Thanks to the author.

I'll have to try the sulfer soap, I've used everything the wife has and still hasn't cleared up. Even scrip metronidazole topical. That mighta lessened some.
