Tylenol or Advil

ad

Due to low mobility and just the modern way of life between cell phones and computer, I get a lot of wrist pain and finger numbness. AAS seems to worsen this, Ive read because of prolactin levels. Women who are pregnant of just had children get this same ailment due to hormones in their body and it’s called “mothers thumb”. Could be a mix of that and small case of carpel tunnel.

Anyway, my question is do you all take Tylenol, Advil, Naproxen or anything other OTC pain meds. I don’t want to add more to my body but the pain makes it so that so can barely hold a barbell. So if I don’t take it or I take it, both seem to mess with my workout.

Has anyone else had these issues? I try stretching but it doesn’t really help much. Thanks

I take MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) 3000mg a day. Helps joint health. I used to take naproxin daily for lower back and hand joint pain and rotator cuff pain. Feels so much better at 1500 in a.m. and 1500 in p.m. can buy online or in health section of any pharmacy. I tried CBD, but the costs are way more for same relief. No more daily naproxen and no CBD

This sounds alot similar to a nerve issue I get from time to time. Right between our shoulder blades are a bundle of nerves that run out to our fingers. I find NSAIDs work well and a few visits to the chiropractor (a good one) and I'm golden.

given the pain you say you're in my suggestion is to go see a doctor instead of trying to self-medicate you may have more issues than you think.

Also, did you not just have a post asking about shampoo?

Come on now

Pretty sure I didn’t ask about any shampoo and it seems there is no use asking anyone anything on this forum because everyone comments like an a$$hole

Most of us here are adults, you can say asshole not a$$hole. We encourage profanity.

I think they answered your question.. go see a doctor. It is not normal to get that, and if so, a otc pain reliever is not the cure. Get checked! We are not being ass holes, we are not doctors. Get your bloodwork done. Hope you get it resolved bro!

Dude. When it comes to medicine like that no one is really gonna give advice. This is an anabolic forum not freakin WebMD or AskADoc.md

Yes, those are over the counter meds but can still do damage if taken wrong.

You need to go see your PCP and discuss all this with him especially if you are having those “carpal tunnel” symptoms
