The Montreal Canadians is the best team in the history of the sport, might also be one of the greatest team any sport has ever seen! No harsh feeling and I was actually just kidding when I told you off at the beginning of my post, lol, no homo, cheers.
Other than calling a division a conference,...... only the top team in a divsion has a lock on a playoff spot, a conference is made up of 3 divisions with each of the division leaders a long with the 5 next highest teams point totals in that conference getting a playoff berth, with the league made up of 2 conferences.
Of course all that goes out the window next year.

Your 3rd in your divsion and 7th in the Eastern Conference and have been going backward since the second week of the season and are listed as doubtful to make the playoffs.
But of course you wish to compare your Laffs to one of the premiere teams in the League.
So here are the real facts: The Nucks are 1st in their division, 1st in the Western Conference and tied for 2nd in the whole League. As for you slamming Louie,................your 2 goalies can't even make it on to the first page of stats for GAA or Sv%, yet both of the Nucks tenders are there.

Leafs are where its at.. canucks depending on Roberto cant save a puck luongo, the flames have a head coach that blames his own team on air lol and well the sens and jets well they have a loooooonng way to go before I even talk about them... so really the only Canadian teams i'd consider to be strong this year is Oilers, Leafs and good ol'd Habs...

Luongo last year : Won the Jennings, nominnated for the Vezina (you've heard of that?), lead the league in wins, had the 2nd best GAA (of those playing 15+games), was 3rd or 4th in Sv% (depending where you draw the line on the # games played), Yes he didn't win the last game of the playoffs, but your beloved Laff's had already been on holidys for 2-3 month at that point.
So your team has won 3 games in an 82 game season and hasn't been to a SC Final in 44/45 years, only in Toronto would that be something to cheer about.

Vancouver 50 points and tied for the lead in the NHL, most goals best PP and 3-4 scoring lines and 2 elite goalies.
Toronto .........has a seat in the bottom half of the league and is holding on to the last playoff spot by their finger nails and pubic hair, they also spend time watching their goalies flounder like fish out of water. (There is a reason they are called the Laff's)

So,......let me get this straight.
Your team, "The Laffs" that couldn't make the playoffs last year,............finally beat a team that couldn't make the playoff either and actualy went backwards in the talent department in the off season.

You guys haven't been to the finals since 67, (and over 1/2 the teams in the league make the playoffs). Hell, even the dreadful Canucks have been to the finals 3 times since you guys were last there.
