The debate...

ad

Anybody watch it last night? I caught a little over the first hour and it was mostly trump wiping the floor with the others. I have to get over to the jobsite but will add to my opinion later..

My point was not all of Isis was in that "parade" that was also before we jumped in with the airstrikes.

Hustle28's picture

Lol where's the airstrikes ?? Or surveillance ?? Or wait those humvees and weapons look American made?? Smh again failed policies by this administration our enemies have grown bolder and their actions have shown that they are no longer afraid of the west & NATO

Hustle28's picture

Exaclty !!! This problem has been getting bigger an bigger cuz obama likes to kick the can down the road just like the economy. I can keep going and going about it but IMO he has failed to do his job period. I'm tired of seeing all the money I'm getting taxed every check

We have almost zero reason to be chasing ISIS. They did kidnap and behead several Americans (I don't have the exact count) but other than that it seems to me they are pretty busy fighting against Syrian, Iraqi, Iranian, Jordanian and Saudi forces. WE DO NOT NEED TO BE INVOLVED. What we are doing right now, targeted airstrikes, surveillance, intelligence and support is plenty.

Hustle28's picture

Idk those airstrikes, surveillance, intelligence is going is costing a shit load of money with no success just saying. I agree we shouldn't even be in the Middle East Israel has enough firepower to kick everyone's ass out there. But like I mentioned above we have a hate trail and Isis is already in the states I agree we shouldn't be chasing them we should be kicking them out

Pale's picture

Israel didn't do so hot in their last skirmish into Lebanon. But you are right, they are party to all of the issues over there too. We are having success against ISIS. The Kurds have kicked their asses with our help in the North and the Shia's with ours and Iranian help have been kicking ass in the South. In Yemen the Saudi's went in and started whooping ass when we made it clear we aren't fighting their battle. I will give Obama credit if this was actually the plan, this is what we need to be doing. If a country is a direct threat to our country or our interests (legit interests) then we should use all of our military might, but this fighting little proxy wars in order to keep justifying spending money with defense contractors needs to end.

kodiakGRRL's picture

you do know that the DoD is moving towards mostly using contractors... As for ISIS the media hold them up as the new threat in order to continue to justify involvment in things we have no business in .. We are everywhere we should not be ..

Hustle28's picture

Yea it's more convinient that way regardless most contractors are ex spec ops operators. It's more efficient since they don't have to follow the rules of engagement and U.S hands don't get blood on them. There probably won't be any moves militarily by the U.S until the next president is elected.

kodiakGRRL's picture

I am well aqainted with the spec ops community .. rather I get most of my information from them .. they are more reliable

Hustle28's picture

Same here =) ur my type of people grrl. I'm currently training with them as u know due to dog convo we had. They have better info as they are and have been on the ground on all major world conflicts since ww2.

Pale's picture

Absolutely! Our carrot and stick routine has run off the rails. We have to stop or our children will never know peace.

Hustle28's picture

I stopped watching cuz the fox moderators were just trying to slam the candidates and put them against each other smh and yea the questions they were throwing at trump were a joke but he was blunt and honest which folks really appreciate I'm tired of seeing politicians in the White House I'm kinda rooting for trump

bigouch's picture

I watched it and I'm probably like many people and feel we have been too politicaly correct..I liked it when Ben Carson was asked about would he use water boarding for an interrogation method he basicly said that's our business and we can't win war being politically correct... also when Trumps "tone" was brought up he said with everything going America don't have time to worry about tone and being politically correct.. I agree strongly that we are too worried about being nice and its making us weak and easy targets for those who hate us most..

Pale's picture

Rubio did good, I also like Kasich and Carson. Paul looked a little too fired up to begin with but he did totally own Christie when challenged by him lol
