STRUGGLES
So ya i am gonna be a little bitch and talk about my problems, if anyone has gone through this or relative issues feel free to comment about your issues. Could be good for me to talk with others and hear how you delt with it. So basically my finacials are getting fucked, in debt out my ass, work has slowed down so not making as much as i use too. i am most likely going to lose my car, that will suck. but i work 2 miles from my house and my gym is right down the road, so worst case i could always bike it for awhile. haha basically i am chosing BB over other shit, but its stressing me the fuck out. so if you have ever been carless for awhile or what not please tell me how you delt with it. advice is good and other stories of struggles while focusing on BB would be great. p.s you guys are crazy motherfuckers and i love every second of it haha. now let the rants begin ;)

Jesus! You should call yourself drill-Msgt-stedanko. :-0
sgtstedankoLOL, it was once offered
Well, the knucklehead I wrote that out for, angered me somewhat. & I wanted to make him cry ;'( This had been building up for a while. The fact that A lot of these body building legend type guys on here think that they're so tough and shit because they can go to a gym & lift everyday. Me, I'll take any man that can do this, or something similar, while being yelled at, & still be able to do arithmetic out loud. & read & write coherently when he gets home at night. Either that, or a nymphomaniac, who owns a liquor store, a good guard dog, and an all orig soviet AK-47, whichever comes 1st : )
I like the nypho that has booze, firearms, and loves dogs! Lol! Love it! But that PT you wrote out is BRUTAL! That would give some higher ranked Krav Maga guys I know a hard time, me included. Intense to be sure!
sgtstedankoLol. My dream wife!? Yes sir, that's honestly how you separate the cream that rises to the top, from all the rest. It's not supposed to be easy... You could probably omit the sat & Sunday pyramids, & just hike, then. I wrote that up to show some cocky body building dude, just how hard certain men have to work outside of the gym, to be the best. Krav maga, huh. Very cool, I like Krav maga. Yeah, It's an ass kicker : )
We have all struggled bro and we all feel your pain, once I couldnt afford protein powder so started using my daughters baby formula...until I found out it was fucking more expensive then my protein!
I feel like killinit and juiceinator on this one!Stick in there brother, things wll get better!
I could probably write a best seller on this topic but I'll keep it short and simple. When I was released from jail I made the decision that I was going to do whatever I had to do to get my life back on track. Everything came slowly. I walked everywhere. I didn't even have a bike nor the money to get one. I eventually found a job, then a little while later was able to get an apartment, a car, then I met a girl and everything seemed to be coming together. I was in love with this chic. I had recently beat her ex up because he knocked her father out cold on his own front porch. About a week later I decide I'm going home from work early because I didn't feel great and guess who's sitting on my couch? The ex. Well after that fiasco I got a phone call from the girl (yes she left wit him) saying she had just called the cops and told them someone was robbing her apartment and her car was missing (I'm on parole). I had EVERYTHING in her name. Well I had less than 5 minutes to get what I could grab and run. I left behind the little bit I had built over that time. Left my car. I just took some clothes and my dog. I ended up in my mothers basement right back at square one. I didn't think I would ever find a way out and I just accepted the fact that "this is my life". I picked my sorry ass back up and got right back at it. Walked to work again. Stayed in the gym all night and kept it as simple as I could. Eventually good thins started to happen again only because I didnt sit on my ass and feel sorry for myself. I kept it moving. It's just valleys and peaks brother. We all go through them. It's not the things that happen to us in life that define us, it's our response! Do whatever you have to do to keep yourself healthy and put food on the table. You'll get it all back! Money means nothing. You can always make money bro! Good luck!
56tooRight on brother, life is one BIG fucking rollercoaster ride, some wilder than others. I hate the valleys but love the peaks. Thing is you don't get one without the other!
Glad to see u pulled yourself up bro. It's just your deck of cards and you're playing the game
OE2000Sup Killin? Let that car go, 2 miles on a bike ain't shit! And think of the cash you'll save in gas. If those CC are in default, cut em up and NEVER use credit again. If you don't have the cash, you don't need it! Keep food on the table and the utilities on. Cut lifestyle to almost nothing, no eating out, going to clubs and getting in bar fights...LOL A weekend in the bars can add up to hundreds of dollarz... been there, done that! Write out a budget.... you take time to write out a cycle/diet plan, why not do the same with money? You may find you're spending alot on bullshit... cable tv for instance, NOTHING but crap. Car is gone, no more maintenance fees on a vehicle. Once you gain some ground, start knocking out that debt. Most CC companies will settle for .50 cent on the dollar. I've got 1 school loan thats almost paid, and I can't wait to be totally debt free.... FUCK Sallie Mae, Feddie Mac, Chase, Visa, MasterCard, BOA.... if I've missed anyone, add it to the list!!! Good luck lil bro!
HSBC, CREDITONE, CAPITAL ONE, ya know just a few to add lol. Hell ya bro i have been doing all that. the funny part is its the no car thing that got to me the most, but after all these crazy fuckers basically calling me out lol i could care less now. I will still have a roof over my head, full firdge, the weights and cycle coming up in may.. FUCK no car? who cares i got the most important things covered. ha and yes the bar fights are a must to stop, i actually was DD for my crew these last two weekends.
OE2000Helllzz yeah bro... I ain't to proud, I walked and rode MARTA when I was living in ATL, saved up and bought a beater, 1986 Volkswagon Jetta. I think I paid $1K for it, maybe even less.... but hey it got me around when I needed it, but that all ended when it was stolen about a year later, but if you calculate that out into car payments over 1 year, it comes to $83 a month, better than $750 a month for a BMW, plus insurance and maintenance!!!! Think about the real costs, $50 a week for gas, oil changes, new tires, brake job, busted radiator, tags and emissions ...ALL that shits gone FUCK GM FORD TOYOTA EXXON MOBIL CHEVRON NISSAN QUAKER STATE.....LMAOOOOOoooooooooo
this might not sound like the most appealing method of picking yourself back up, but it does work. its called eating beans and rice. or you could go get a job at the club you workout at, save a membership fee and make some money on your off days. try trading in your car for a mountain bike, think about how huge your legs will get from riding that piece into work everyday.
ha i hear ya man, i got some decent wheels as it is. TIME TO BRING THE PAIN lol.... and i have thought about the whole job at gym thing, little extra monies and a free member ship, SOLD....
true. i had a summer job as a bicycle messenger in like '96, my thighs and glutes got so big so fast from riding that bike i ended up with stretch marks on my ass. still have em lol
DT-SwoleHope shit picks up for you in the best way man!
some of us are ungrateful for the easy lives we have..
Dude in 2008 I was homeless and hungry in a strange big city (im from the country)and down to 126lbs at 6'2''. The size of death and i was still doing pushups and situps every 3 days and doing pullups on monkeybars. This yoga chick i met at a park worked at a health food store and use to hook me up with soy protein here and there. Keep your head up bro shit gets better, at least you stil have your weight lol
Are you shittin' me?! Try being a recently recovered intravenous meth user, homeless, living in your $500 car wondering how long you can ration your rice and beans and how you're going to come up with enough money to by another gallon of gas. Try getting a job when you don't have a phone or address.
I ended up with my own business with 12 employees, a wonderful wife and two not-so-bad kids (ok, so my life isn't perfect).
Take the bull by the horns; man up; take charge. Voluntarily surrender your car and use that money where it's needed most. Hunker down and regroup.
I get strength by remembering other times I was in a hopeless situation that always turned out alright in the end. This time will be just like those. And as bad off as I was, there were others in more need than myself. Have faith my friend, this too shall pass.
haha that was dickishly motivational lol. but i get the message bro
LOL, I guess I did stand too tall on my soapbox.
You'll be alright bro; just ride it out.
Bro, I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after a little over a year. I had to hide my car for awhile at a friends house to make sure it wasn't repo'd, opened way too many credit cards and took out personal loans to make it while in school. Thankfully my parents talked me into moving in with them so I can start the arduous process of repairing my finances. Exactly what boots said, positive people are key, I had negative people around me and dropped em during that time. There were nights that I didn't sleep I was so worried about money. Golds gym was my release and happy place, I showered there for about a month when my power got cut off. It gets better, it may take awhile, but it does get better and you'll be a better person because of the struggle.
Anon10 years ago I was homeless. I took a few baths using a water faucet. I would bounce from girl to girl and let them suport me. I had a divorce had a shitload of child suport to pay and said fuck it.I didnt get a job for 3 years. Now I have my own business make a very good living and laugh at those days.
I'm in the same financial shitstorm. Paying student loans on a degree in a field I can't find work in, had to sell my nice wheels, but I've still got an old reliable truck I can almost afford to keep gas in. Not making shit, had to take a break from going to trade school to save up enough to get back in (Not fucking taking loans this time).
About to move to a new city that seems to have quite a few more job opportunities,so that's good. I've got my health, a great girlfriend that doesn't mind the amount of time I dedicate to the weights and the supplementation that goes along with it. Stuff is pretty bad, but it could be a lot worse. I've got my health, I'm able to keep the fridge fairly full, I've got my weights, and this month I hit a year clean from some pretty nasty drugs.
Shit sucks, could be worse, could be better, is what it is.
Surround yourself with as many positive people as possible.. fuck money you can always make it work, adapt ,its what we do. I make enough to pay my bills and thats it. End of the month is 80 cent tacos or Dollar menu shit just to fill me up, its almost like i run a cutting cycle at the end of every month wheen things get tight lol.. but i stay focused , happy.. most of the time, motivated in my dreams , i dream big so i get laughed at alot but... it makes me happy so fuck it .
i am actually changing the people in my life as we speak, i love my crew but they are just on different paths then me right now. ha i hear ya on that one bro, fucking pay check to pay check bull shit. and laughed at? next time you get laughed at super man punch that bitch in the face, i am really big on respect. If someone disrespects me i will show them to never do it again. your a fucking stallion keep doing you, never show fear always show pride. one day you will be able to look at those laughs like it fed your fire.
''We will be relentless in our pursuit for perfection. We won't ever be perfect, but in the process we will achieve greatness.'' BOOTS 2 MUTHAFUCKIN ASSES ..everyday
sgtstedankoHell yeah, brother! Fear, keeps you standing still. Keep pushing em off ya! Keep moving!!! Good luck. $ ain't shit...
WOW you are all amazing, i almost feel like a chump by even posting that now. You guys all seem to understand what i am going through, and some of you going through worse and still have your big ass heads held high. I feel better by reading what you guys wrote and not in a dick way, just mean its good to know that i am not the only one struggling and that its just a part of life. I will take from all of you and keep my head high and keep pushing forward. i absolutely love BB and that is the most important thing to me, i have quit a lot of things in my life. I will never stop BB if i have to ride a bike around for a while so be it, i mean shit everything i need is within 2-3 miles of me it cant be that hard right. Your all fucking stallions and i am glad you shared your stories, its hard to put yourself out there and share your troubles like that. FUCK YOU ALL JUST MOTIVATED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!!!!!!
AnonI walked away from my home last year.. thank god Gothic took me in.. he doesn;t have any cars by the way .. It was probably one of the hardest things I ever had to do. It felt like quiting.. but this too shall pass. Shit happens and then we either adapt and grow or well.. you don't.
sgtstedankoBrother, do what you love. I went 6 months w/out a car. Biked, walked or ran everywhere! Save your $ & next buy everything in $. If you're passionate about bb, then fuck everything else. Think of all the guys that are in the same boat as you, & working a shit job, they hate. Keep plugging away, dude. Feel free to pm me.
Bro I lived in my truck after a cycle last year. Wifey wasn't very happy about my troubles with LE. Just remember it gets better. Use the same hard work u put into BB and turn the page. Sometimes shit has to happen to some of us to really appreciate the life we have. Life goes on brutha!
