The storage drawers fitted into the base of the bed.... gear goes in empty shoe boxes and packs away nice and tidy, pins,barrels, swabs and all other paraphernalia gets stored in there too... fortunately being in UK I can stash as much gear as I please with no law breaking taking place.

prepare for the unexpected - fires, floods, freak storms, home alarm that accidentally trips while you are out of town, etc. Essentially, anything that prompts a neighbor/LE/authority figure to swing on by to make sure everything is ok.

Don't leave anything out and store it in something that preferably locks and is fire rated.

I knew someone who was renting an apartment and the unit above had a toilet overflow that ran for hours. Well, this individual unexpectedly went out of town for the weekend that it happened and the building attendant went in to his apartment to survey the damage. Not only did he find a few inches of shit water in the kitchen - he also found a 1/4 key of coke in his fridge...which he reported to the police.

I use rifle cases... Remove all the padding and hollow out a small cavity for each vial. Trim down the piece i cut out and reattach it with a small amount of automotive Velcro. By the time an officer is looking in your cases all they car about are the rifle numbers. As for orals I take virgin 12 gauge ammo and load it like snake shot with the tablets. Each round holds about a 20-25 pills. Just place the the "special" rounds back into a case of ammo and you're gtg. Everything is locked into a fireproof gun safe. I might burn to death, but my gear will live on lol.
