So you wanna be a Rap superstar live large?!
F*** it lets kick this thing of right. This is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside...... lol Ace that's a little shot from my 9 fired at you my friend.
Thought I'd switch it up a little, I know most you meatheads (yeah I said it
with a smile) love nothing more than slapping on your leather chaps, sitting down to an episode of sons of anarchy, and afterwards singing the chorus to skynard and miming the rest, or listening to something by those metalic fellows who also enjoy a nice leather outfit from time to time.
However, this is for the old school/new school Original pirate material HIP HOP aka the greatest movement certainly in the music industry for the longest time. Just to be clear (imo) you don't have to rep KRS ONE, Big daddy Kane or the damn S.H.G, from way back in the day as good as they were to know your shit but if it's Good rap, it's good f****** Rap!
If your still paying attention your probably thinking a little background to Monk wouldn't go a miss, which corner he rep, which set he claim. Well, none lol. Most of you have seen the movie Bravehart, round those big hills is where I grew up and at that age I was pumping my tape deck to either something like Coolio, run dmc or Beatnuts lol as you can imagine even in a relatively modem climate at the time the 'Record Shop' didnt have a great selection. Mostly secomd hand or had to order shit in, untill Eminem dropped and suddenly everyone had their Middle finger up and the shelves were full lol and the store workers would even sell the parental advisory CDs (big deal at the time) to me and my friends as young kids which I still genuinely love that fact to this day lol. Primary shool teacher confiscates 'hi my name is' lol I'll never forget the look on their faces and the sheer outcry at The simple fact he said FUCK.
I've waffleed on enough now, down to the meat and potatoes. So what's topic of convo? Top ten Greatest Mc's? best album? Biggie or Pac? etc etc nah nah.
Ive always loved Rappers (legit) go at each other with come back diss records not fake ass shit. If anyone's intrested I wanna hear some of your favourite and greatest diss tracks.
For me it might be an obvious choice to most but Nas was my shit growing up and when "ether" dropped he murdered J. He also went hella hard with "got yourself a g.." And To be fair J's responses over the years were always s*** hot qualty lyrically but for me, Nas killed him.
Benzino v Em was some funny s*** to lol.

It is actually probably a good thing the gangster rap culture kind of faded out. We used to ride around drunk as hell listening to NWA and The Geto Boys. That shit will make you crazy.
As far as the new artists, a lot of what I have heard of Kendrick Lamar is pretty good.
Shit, I can't believe you busters left out:
1. NWA
2. 2livecrew
Oh yeah and vanilla ice and Mc hammer.
<--- This guy mentioned NWA. As for Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer, you left out Young MC. Bust a Move!
My apologies. Much respect.
AnonEasy e
StevebEazy E
I love to listen to some old skool gangsta shit while working out to. .....bloodz vs krips....piru love. Plus I gotta rep my monsta Polynesian uso's "boo ya tribe"
As much as I get sick of Em it is hard to deny that he is hands down the most talented rapper to ever set foot on the stage. I really wanted to hate his last album but there again he went and killed it.
Etta James, I'd rather go blind
OK, how far back are we going? Curtis Blow? Slick Rick? Or maybe just to Yo! MTV Raps and Fab 5 Freddy? How bout NWA, Public Enemy, or Tribe Called Quest?
Best feud is Pac and Biggie, hands down, with Hit 'em Up being the pinnacle of said feud.
Realist rappers? I gotta go with UGK, Master P, DMX
Lyricists? De La Soul, Andre Benjamin, Eminem
Most underrated? Mos Def, Common
Most overrated? Puff Daddy
Shit this list goes could go onnn lol most underrated is a pretty general term but here's a few:
Cormega
Inspectha deck
AZ
MC Ren
Raekwon
Tech-n9ne
Pooh
Ace VenturaWhat's Pooh? Too $hort's buddy?
Ace VenturaDon't act like you go back to Curtis Blow without watchin' the History Channel, mah-fuckah.

Steveb"Curtis Blow and the old school show"
LOL, I grew up in the hood shootin' ball until it was too dark to see and gettin' my ass beat for my Bulls Starter jacket on the way home from school. I go all the way back with this shit.
Ace VenturaYou were like three years old when he was out!
Shit, I like Al Green too and that mofo has to be twice my age if he's still alive.
Ace VenturaOkay, I'm jussayin though.... Lol
And I was 6, not 3. LOL
Ace VenturaLol
Anon"I aint got no friends, thats why I fukd yo bitch you fat motherfuka"pac

right. 50s a rat fuck with paper work to prove it. never respected him because of it. Dmx is a crack head . DIPSET is truth tho.
were talking dmx before he became a crackhead. He was one of the ogs.
He was always a crack head he just didn't run from cops cracked the fuck out of it doing domestics and what not lmfao ruff ryder days maybe.
Ace VenturaFuck that shit. His first album was great.
First 2 albums actually. Both happen to be great for the gym as well.
Ace VenturaI agree! Speaking of good gym rap, I don't know how many people even heard this DMX track from a couple years ago:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yyyTHqVpG4k#
Short but good. It's the only track I snagged off the album.
Best DMX line:
I got blood on my hands and there's no remorse.
I got blood on my dick 'cause fucked a corpse.
Ace VenturaLmfao that's not bad.
lmfao
Ace VenturaDoes Dre still rap? What about Kendrick Lamar
every now and then he will spit a bar or two .
Ace VenturaI could ramble on and on for hours about this shit.
First time I heard a rapper use a cuss word was LL Cool J's I'm Bad. I was in second grade and I loved it. It was on vinyl btw.
Great battles; Eminem vs ICP, Jay Z vs Nas, Tupac vs Biggie of course. And I was a kid listening to Kool Moe D battle LL Cool J, and still listen to those tracks on my iPod.
"Realest" rappers; Scarface, Kevin Gates, Tupac, DMX, Eminem.
Possibly best MC of all time to me is KRS-One. I grew up listening to him and I honestly believe his best album might be 2003's Kristyles.
A good video:

Ace VenturaThat's good. I used to love the beat boxers, the dude in the Fat Boys n shit.
Kool G Rap an DJ Polo- train robbery.
Not a diss track. Just a great jam
Big Krit - Mt Olympus
Kelis say her milkshake bring all the boys to the yard. Then nas tattoo the bitch on his arm.
Love some 50 dis stuff. Even though he was trying to keep drama alive when no one else gave a fuck.
Not as fat back reaching but still circa 1999 or even 98 possibly?
50 cent how to rob an industry
He disses anyone and everyone, first time I ever heard him too
Then everyone found out he was a straight snitch lol
Big Daddy Kane, Special Ed, NWA, Kool G rap. its all my older brother listened to and his friends, back when the rap movement just started where it was cool to make songs about dissing other rappers. My favorite of course was Eric B and Rakim; I unfortunately know the lyrics to the Microphone Fiend by heart.
lmfao oh shit.
StevebMF DOOM, Kelpe, Ice Cube (Especially in WC), Flying Lotus, Lowkey, Mc Ren.
Dr Octagon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9VYzNUXGDA
Dj Shadow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcxsheROd3E
Best disses were all the songs Ice Cube made talking shit about Cypress Hill, Eazy E, and Dr Dre.
Ace VenturaI prefer the earlier, racist Ice Cube
x2
Death Certificate is one of the best albums of all time.
