ad
as some of you may know i work in moving. we mostly do residential and commercial jobs. but we just picked up a huge project. its the projects. theyre tearing down a huge complex of 10 towers. shipping all the hood rats out to various other projects across the state. we're the lucky fucks that have to do this. going to be there for about 2 months. today was the first day. fuck me does this shit suck. so dirty. the people are horrible. trash and drugs every where. ive been to projects b4, and this is as bad as ive scene. one lady's shit was so dirty i refused to move some of it. i told he "ma'am, that mattress is not sanitary. im not having any of my workers touch it"
man am i happy i was born white and not in the hood....

Much higher quality of life in south.
I'm from NY, no comparison-
Better weather, lower taxes and better realestate appreciation.
Soon - the NE Will be empty- baby boomers going south
I misunderstood- I thought you were doing some very shitty work and already wanted out-
I simply made a point that we are lookin for quality people to grow, so I would look at anyone
Who has certain qualities.
Go for it- get ur own rigs, network and rock it out.
Good advertising, social media, Internet mktg and good rep is most important.
If you can- do background checks on ur people and sell that to ur clients
oh im doing plenty of shitty work for sure
I'd wear a respirator with cartridges
you know, now i see what you mean by i wanted out. all my threats to quit. now i got it. i was just talking about that company. not the field. and honestly i wouldnt even want to leave there for now. i like my boss. im just so mad they got us out here. and so is everyone else that works there. guy is catching a lot of heat right now.
I am in SE US> and run 2 businesses, all of which have better 'upside' than moving-
One is a water restoration biz and the other a specialized insulation biz
brother if this was a serious offer, i thank you kindly. especially considering you dont know me at all other than my witty banter on a forum. but i could never seriously consider that. even if i was somehow to overlook the fact that i wouldnt leave jersey, i have no intention of leaving moving. as much as i hate my job. as much as i complain. your right. moving has no upsides really. other than one. they pay. even just working in the industry i make great money. im not a laborer. im a foreman and we get payed commission of our jobs. but honestly im in the process of setting up shop for my self. i bought one truck this week. bidding on another one. god willing, i get my licensing issues work out, and i should be operational this spring.
I am looking for help- do you need a career ruski?
Hey Im in the S.E. what you got?? lol
sure. if you can cover my hourly average. what we talking about?
it just keeps getting worse and worse. the smell in some apartments is horrendous. my guys were supposed to move a fridge for this one guy. come running to me. they moved the thing over and like 200 roaches came out. i looked at the customer like are you fucking crazy. i told my boss if he doesnt send me on a normal job tomorrow im quitting for real this time. never been so excited to go move a piano before.
mandatory BIRTH CONTROL-
Rant away dude- it's all true-
These people take assistance to mean PERMANENT living expenses-
I don't know what the fucking answer is- but believe it may just be to grow our economy
To the point that there is so much prosperity that we can afford it-
I believe in a duty to take care of the poor-
Buy the lazy?
Letting fucking starve or go clean up the park-
Wash govt vehicles, clean up the road way.
I hear in Canada if you want a Welfare check- they give u work to do
Take care of the poor is ok, but when it gets to the point that they are "comfortable" living like that, thats when the problem develops, as they have no incentive to better themselves. I saw a thing few years back talking about the food stamps and EBT cards... once a month when their "benefits" get loaded on the card, these sob's make a run on the grocery's. They literally showed how they would come in start shopping around 11pm or so, dragging all their rugrats with them, filling the cart up with ribeyes, name brand soda pop, etc, and at 1201am would be in the checkout line. Not a signle damn generic in the cart, all name brand, all expensive top shelf items... of course halfway thru the month, they are broke, and we are told we "need to do more" ). Here I am buying the generics and watching my budget and they are eating ribeyes and complaining I need to do more??! WTF!! OR how about the one who came in "looking for a job" when I was running a body shop... all he wanted was me to sign the form that he was "actively looking for work". Offered him a job doing cleanup in the shop... nope, didnt want that, all he wanted was the form signed that he had come in and asked about a job. I'm all for growing the economy, but as to being able to "afford" what most of the turkeys want, we'll never get to that point, as they will always want more, because someone else (who worked for it) has more than they do. My thought is more along the lines of providing the basic needs to survive... roof over head, built in fridge, stove, microwave, weekly dropoff of powdered milk and eggs, frozen hamburger and bag of rice based on number in household and calorie requirements (as an aside you would see obesity drop big time! and would only take a time or two of going hungry for a couple days because they ate it all too soon to learn to eat normal and watch what they do) fixed heat and a/c with no controls set at 65 winter, 80 summer (not the most comfortable, but you aint gonna die) ONE black and white TV built into the wall with just basic channels, and NO wall outlets to go and plug in the ipod/gameboy/xbox/iphone5 etc. Basic sustenance only, and they either have to have a job or do public service, otherwise cut the tv and lights... if they want to stay like that fine, if not, get out, mow some lawns, wash some cars, learn to swing a hammer or work a saw, something... make them have to apply themselves and not just hand it to them for free.
Where is the in incentive to change? Trade in having ALL of your basic needs (and then some)for self esteem and self sufficiency? This is the systems failings. We have generations raised on more babies=more $$, only a small% are "incapable of fending for themselves but for every 1 who may truly need it there are 100 ready and willing to exploit it. Then there is the factor that poverty and crime and undereducation go hand and hand. Once introduced to the system that does NOT employ rehabilitation most receive a scarlet letter and very few have any chance at even moderate success. I am not making excuses for them. I come from the projects myself and although I have escaped the mentality as well as the life I understand there is no solution within the realm of the present system. Those in abject poverty (who have also been spoonfed the principals of what this country is supposed to stand for) carry the same sense of entitlement as the middle class and the wealthy. There is more than enough for everybody but selfishness, greed and entitlement rule the day. And if we provide a larger scale, the HOMELESS in this country still have it better than most of the planet
CONCLUSION: ROME IS BURNING BITCHEZ SO GRAB A MARSHMALLOW!
I guess I am thinking basic only and barely that... no more monthly checks, EBT cards to buy steak... hell trade the hamburger for stale bologna on the food level.. 3 people in the household needing 25000 calories for the week, thats the amount of food only, no more steak, topshelf items, etc. IMO the incentive would be having the chance to get better food, have the nice things, etc... dunno that it would work, but the current system of spend more, spend more is certainly broke too. What really pisses you off at times is seeing a kid that HAS the chance to break out, and a couple years later he's in the paper for some crime he committed to try and fit in with his peers, and then the system swallows him up... comes back out a couple years later and is full blown thug. Got a kid that is involved in the youth program of a group I volunteer with and really hope he doesnt head that path eventually... straight A's in school, but small for his age and pretty soft spoken.. not trying to sound like I'm blowing my own horn, but anytime he is there I make sure he is involved in things and doesn't feel like he's not wanted or anything, because I want to see him break out of the cycle, and this kid CAN if he's given the chance... polite, grades that will get him a scholarship, etc. IF the system doesnt swallow him up first...
.
Oh, and got Stay-Puft and Campfire brand, which you want? LOL
CleyonWouldn't that be something? Tell them, "You want a welfare check? Go do 20hrs a week of community service." or "We need someone to clean up the office three hours a day, you're hired." How quickly would that change things?
you know what. a few people (like 3) did ask me for a job. (like 30 asked me for a dollar)
Hahaha...Im in construction and we need ppl bad...cant find anyone! uncle sam is paying 300.00 a week for unemployment, pay for food and rent and I want them to start at 8-10$ hour depending on skills its more ofcourse, but we(america) has made it easier to be a lazy fuck. Fuck Id love food stamps, Im a single father with a mortage, car payment, and all the other fucking bills. I was ingrained while young that you EARN your money and if you keep busting your ass you could possibly live the American dream(the reason my parents came). Not every person will get the house with the white pickett fence, but Id be damned if Im not going to try my fucking hardest to give my family a better life than I had. This shit makes my head hurt. Btw every Russian Ive met has that same passion to succeed.
its no passion, its a duty brother.
X2
I end up in those kind of areas a few times a week... some of them are so bad the only times the popo goes in, its either multiple cars or they already have their piece out and on their lap. Makes it reeeeal interesting rolling through in a diesel Excursion with blacked out windows!! All kinds of eyes peeking out of dark windows and around corners at me. Had one I had to inspect one time that the only way to go in was through the window... literally had hardware in my hand and got my german shepherd all agitated and barking and had him jump through the window first (they were still in the area looking for a felon who had committed another armed robbery/shooting the night before)... What really yanks my chain over the shit though, is 99% plus of the ones I inspect that were section 8 and in 'da hood', not only are they nasty as fuck with mold/trash/stale pizza, but also in the closets and corners of the rooms, there are piles of expensive shoes they left behind, TONS of Xbox/playstation/etc game cases at $40-50 a pop, enough clothes to fill a corner of goodwill if they hadnt been just wadded on the floor and old cans of pepsi thrown on them... Oh, and dont forget the mandatory bags of beer cans and empty bottles of crown adorning the walls... went into one, the washer had sprung a leak and the whole back end of the house was rotted off and collapsing! Freaking 3'x3' hole in the wall!!!! (and I'm supposed to tell you whats needed to fix it? Uh.. heres a match and some gas... that corner there would be a good place to start!) Yet there are still certain ones out there (one in particular trying to be re-elected comes to mind) that say we arent doing enough and need to do more!! SMFH!!! If they spent 30% of what they had spent on booze, shoes, and video game crap for the kids they would have already broken out of the dependency cycle and been moving on and up!! The biggest problem is the plantation mentality. The plantation owner (government) is gonna take care of them so thats all they care about... in 2005, some friends pulled donations together, and I ran a load of relief supplies down after Katrina and then spent a week down there helping out... Spent part of the time in Waveland Ms. (which was just about flattened) and Slidell, La (where a bunch of lower 9th had evac'd to)... Waveland folks were polite, asked what they could do to help us in the tents or other areas (nevermind they had just lost everything they ever had!) no fighting or shoving in the tents with donated clothes, they were passing them over to others if they thought it would fit them better, etc... Slidell was the complete opposite... complaining about MRE's, or servings werent big enough on the plates at the food tents. Or that the powdered eggs were "nasssty.... I aint gonna eat dis... why you aint bring no real food!!"... clothes tent same thing. Stood there and watch them paw through stuff pick it up, look at it and decide either it wont fit or (more common as we tried to sort by size) they they didnt like the way it looked (nevermind the only clothes they have are on their backs) and THROW IT DOWN IN THE MUD!! and trample all over it as they kept pawing through the stuff. Shoving each other around, fighting over clothes and either tearing the shirt by pulling back and forth, or one would win, and then after holding it up decide they didnt want it after all, and in the mud it goes! Dont forget the constant bitching too (All this is shit... I dont want no clothes nobody else wants... why aint you bring no good clothes down!!) before walking out with ARMLOADS of free clothes. I made it a day and a half there and went back to the Waveland side. Showed me then and there the end result of constantly giving more and more govt aid. End result is they expect it to keep being more and keep going up. No incentive at all to try and break the cycle.. they end up becoming animals... kids follow suit too... no social skills at all. It all becomes a strongest survive pack mentality. Next thing you know little De'andre has went and stole a gat, gotten popped by the cops and is either dead or facing 50-life at 17yrs old and all the parents do is whine how he was such a good boy (nevermind he always skipped school and fought the teachers who tried to educate him and help him break out, cause their was no discipline at home) and the bleeding hearts whine how we need to throw even more money in the sewer.. Sorry... Off my rant now
Ive done work on section 8 apartments before and I know what youre talking about. This one house had pizza on the floor as hard as a hockey puck, mushrooms growing around the toilet and tub, holes in sheetrock where 1 of the 8 kids throw trash in, active roof leaks. The gov pays there rent all they had to do was call before the problem got out of hand and we would have fixed it. It took 1 of this p.o.s kids to get sick as fuck from mold and the doc know something was up and made a call to the apartment. While we are there trying to fix shit this fat bitch is acting like we are slaves. I can imagine all those kids are now up standing citizens. Fucking mom should have her utheras ripped out and feed to the rabies infested dog that roamed the hood.
Dont want to turn this into race but Blacks and whites have the same oppurtunities in this country. I immigrated to this fine country from Portugal when I was a young fuck with parents that could barely speak english. They made a good life busting their asses to provide for thier childern. My high school was 92% black that being said I had the same they had and I turned out pretty fucking good! Sorry for the rant
100% agree. we i immigrated from the soviet union. we came with nothing not because we had nothing but because we couldn't get it out. every single one of these people is significantly more well off then we were when we arrived here. 20 somethings years later we are all successful. everyone is either a professional or a successful business owner. and im not just talking about my family. my whole community. id say about 90% of my family and family friends are here now. and virtually every single one is more or less successful now. and we all came from the same level of shit nothing. the opportunities are def out there. its if you want to grasp them or not.
Your 100% correct! You and your family and community have something that is called motivation and desire. You want to have nice things and work to get them. These people want nice things but want them handed to them. People like that disgust me to sit around and live and sleep in shit. Raise your kids in a slum hole for eternity. Everyone is entitled to hit rock bottom but DAMN you got to climb eventually!
CleyonThat's because ya'll came here ready to WORK for the American Dream. These people being discussed in this thread think they deserve handouts. I will say however that I've been to Russia, and know that there is a definite reason you and yours came over here.
Yep! I will keep my true thoughts and feelings to myself on this one.
I love all of our brothers and sisters-,,,well almost all- Im not quite there yet
there is a special place in my heart for the biddies who may have about 10% chance in life
After the earthquake in Haiti- I wanted to adopt a child, but wifey would go for it.
Its crazy right?! Watch your pockets.
Hey I'm glad I'm white too!!!!!
the worst part was all the bitches were on my shit. they were like "oh i like the way you work. you sweating" "when you take the couch out where we gunna sit? on your lap?" at that point i went to the truck and splayed spades on my phone for an hour.
Lmfao....glad you were born white CLASSIC!!!
but but its whites mans fault!! right?? lol
