Your agreement is so flawed. Today world is completely different than hundreds of years ago. The USA does more for the world than all the other countries combined. It's not always the USA responsibility to solve or help everyone. We need to take care of us before we worry about immigrants. How many homeless do we have? How many kids go hungry here? How many veterans are homeless? I'm sorry but my taxes should go to helping people here instead of paying for medical bills from someone that sneaked into this country. So u believe in karma then the USA is great bc we do more than anyone for others by a huge amount. Karma doesn't work like your saying. America isn't the greatest country in the world anymore. We are not this beacon of freedom and democracy we once were. So much shady shit has been perpetrated on us by our own government that doesn't require beliefs in conspiracy theories, but can be proven by requesting documents through FOIA. I respectfully disagree. Part of the problem is still thinking we are number one while the rest of the world looks at us in disgust. Humility is something Americans haven't learned yet. This country is still wet behind the ears, so to speak, when you compare its age to other countries in the world and their culture. It has a lot to learn. I think America is the greatest country to live in. But we aren't the world power anymore. We handed that to China. And that divide will grow more and more every day. And we drink way too much of the kool aid. We think how we are told to think. We bitch about the welfare of the poor and give billions in credits to corporations. We blindly accept all this bullshit and side with the beliefs a party tells us to have. It all needs tore down.
As far as the refugees, if that shit was on our doorstep, dead babies washing up on our porch, every single one of us would react.
