Protein Ice Cream.

ad

I've been experimenting with ice cream these days. Why doesn't anyone make a high protein natural ice cream? Or do they and I don't know about it?

If you take Breyer's all natural vanilla and mix two scoops of ON chocolate casein protein and blend it's very good. You have a nice serving of 50 grams of protein and some decent calories for a bulking diet. I do this maybe once or twice a week, on leg and chest day.

But I want to make my own. So I'm using raw organic cream, raw sugar, real vanilla, and some digestive enzymes. I'm trying it tonight.

But I'd rather eliminate the dairy all together. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking coconut or almond milk? Anyone ever experiment with ice cream making at all?

Ill post up a recipe when I get this down to a science.

take two scoops of protein powder and half a container of yogurt...
its like 50 grams of protein in there and tastes like pudding...or what ever
flavor your protein powder is..

I eat nadamoo ice cream. The serving size is 1/2 a cup w/ 9 grams of sugar and 3 gram dietary fiber. Mix that with some flax milk and unflavored protein (plant fusion) and BOOOM. I've got a protein maple pecan milkshake. Suck it!

I NEED THIS. Just had a bowl B&J. Lot of calories and little protein.

I tried it once with vanilla ice cream.. I don't even remember which brand.. I let it melt enough that I could stir it but it wasn't leaking.. then I threw 5 or 6 scoops of strawberry whey in and mixed it with a spoon.. I had to eat a little out of the top so it didn't spill.. it was pretty good but honestly I'd rather just make a whey milk shake.. I just like those better plus I can drink them with a meal if I'm bulking like a fatty
