+ 3 New Years resolutions or lack there of.
ad
It’s that time again. People will flood into the gym, mess up my routine. Then like Houdini they disappear. Hopefully some them stick around, I like watching ppl transform themselves (no homo) I don’t usually do New Years resolutions, but this year I am going to focus on overall health. Every year it’s to get bigger and bigger and pushing overall health to the side. I’m not cycling anymore, because I just started trt. Maybe a few years from now I will try to cycle different compounds. Stabilizing my trt is the more important thing right now. I would like to hear others goals for this year pertaining to training, diet and AAS. Have a happy New Years guys.

First day of school. Definitely the oldest person in my classes. Everyone looking at me like I’m the maintenance man or some shit.
AnonYou're living the plot of "Good Will Hunting"
Great movie, wish I knew algebra like he did!
I was going to quit being a dick to newbies.
Looks like ive already blown that.
Maybe next year...
LOL
I'd resolve to stop being a dick altogether but the goal would be unobtainable...
Ha! Even i knew not to push it too far
The way I see you don’t learn with someone being nice to ya!
Well if you quit being a dick it wouldn’t be quite as entertaining.
New years resolutions just make it easier to fail. The best thing to do is just focus on personal goals you have all year round. I finally reached that age where i don't give a shit what people think about me so my goal this year is more certifications for my career, knocking my sweets down to twice a month. I lost a lot of friends over the past few years so my other focus is to visit with the ones I have left, the gym will always be there for me like a bowl of chicken noodle soup on a cold ass day.
Do what you love and love what you do. Like a fkn hallmark card.
I feel you on that. I’ve lost so many friends to senseless shit I’ve been desensitized to it. It almost expected due to lifestyle choices. I honestly don’t have any life long friends left, but I have a lot of family. Happy News man.
jayiskthis time of year in commercial gyms is horrible for yr round lifters. People show up for 2 wks up to usually 2 months because of a new years resolution and stop coming until spring.
Spring is when you also see the seasonal juice heads show up to get jacked for the summer and thats it.
Where i live we have 4 seasons so there are a lot of lazy juice heads that only show up when its spring and part of the summer when then can take their shirts off at the beach or a pool.
Hey if a person doesnt consider themselves a BB or PL I'm all for people exercising for health.
It has to be miserable to have to go to the gym cause a doctor told you to for your health. But i see people do it all yr round..., but the others are like the people that just watch the Superbowl and havent watched a football game all season.
Stop looking at video's on social media and comparing my sessions to 20st Behemoths, then getting myself negged out when I can't match them on lifts Lol
more focus
work harder, but with more intelligence.
work on picturing my optimum form, and achieving said form through mind muscle.
Find a good woman who appreciates me for who I am, not who she thinks I should be.
More cardio for adding an extra 5 mins every week until I hit around 45 mins. Right now just doing 15 mins with a 3 min cool down pre workout. It just seems like I can’t push as hard if I don’t do cardio first. Also starting lowering my nicotine on my vaping habit hopefully get to 0mg and just do it when the urges hit. Good luck brother!
Just keep fighting age and trying to remain embarrassment free with my shirt off lol
Bigger and leaner. And staying injury free. Good luck brother!
That’s right... just now fully recovered from a shoulder injury. This year will be like none other. I start school January 14 at 34. I will move to a semi part position at work. So I won’t be as physically drained all year before workouts. It will be full time at school, 12 hours this semester. Trying to start over.
12 hrs is a perfect starting point for a first semester. 16 or more hours can get very demanding and overwhelming starting out especially when you haven’t been to school in a long time. Congrats on the enrollment and overcoming an injury
Thanks man. I am going for applied science and instrumentation technology. Where I live industrial work is really big. A lot of oil companies and chemical plants. It’s kind of a weird full circle situation. I did some prison time and my state has a program where ppl who did time the state will pay for your school. It took a lot of paperwork and interviewing. After a few aptitude tests I was accepted. My family is at a point where we can afford the pay cut. To be completely honest, I’m scared shitless. Everyone around me is pumped up, don’t want to let them down. I did have to take a remedial math.
+1 as well for turning your life around. It’s so easy to get discouraged thinking no one will hire you with a record and just avoid going back to college. I know I’ve been there.
+1 for turning your life around man. I like hearing about shit like that. Takes a lot of balls to change
