Need your advice on what kind of breed dog to adopt?

im looking for something active, friendly,loyal...that is down to go on runs when ever , whether morning runs or midnight runs.. any opinions please? , nothing too small though because i dont want it to get hurt exercising ..
i got a beautiful house here with a lot of room so w/e dog it is i ll make sure that he is living good a being taken and being taken care of

If you are wanting a dog to run with you.. I would look at Weimaraner, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Vizsla or German Shepherds. These dogs enjoy running and being active.

agree with nitti. Pitbulls are down ass dogs. very loyal, attached, crazy dogs. Love mine to death. Wife gets pissed tho cause how they act with me. There just loyal and loving. MY wife says they're my bitches(male and female) lol My dogs snuggle with babies and have jacked up a scary ass husky that got a hold of me and dont like strangers approaching me or wife...
Get a bully breed. The most loving and loyal dog I ever had. American PitBull terrier, American bulldog, American Bully, Colby, Stafortshire terrier, Presa Canario, Cane Corso (those last couple are big boys). The Colby pit bull is the smallest of the bullies. Their image is absolute bullshit. It takes ppl to have one to know the truth.

BigBmajI don't like dogs that shed too much. Everyone I know who has a labradoodle loves it. If your house is beautiful you probably won't want hair everywhere. The LD's are pretty cool dogs actually, smart, active, good looking dogs. There is a reason they are so popular all of a sudden.
I've got a schnauzer and I like him, I think I'd get a giant one next time.
go with a rescure organization....border collie, full of energy loves to exercise and do agility stuff...if you are taking it running a lot dont go with too big a dog b.c it will be hell on its joints

Ive got a Staffordshire bull terrier...it's in the av pic. Can you see her jumping for the hanging branch?
That's the dog to get, mines active as soon as I am. She used to run at my side when I cycled. Love's being out and about. Super friendly, love's kids and packed with muscle. Not a problem in the 4 years ive had her. Very loyal dogs aswell. I might of got a Pitt but there banned in UK, the police take em off people
Golden retrievers
Loyal to a fault, mid sized dog, great temperment, great around other people/kids and dogs. Loves big areas but does well indoors and limited spaces (not high strung). There are Golden Retriever rescue groups where you can adopt a dog.
Labs or rottweilers fit that the best imo.. I've raised quite a few breeds of dogs and they are the easiest and sweetest (Although they are VERY hyper as puppies).. But really any dog is great so long as you socialize them at an early age and any decent sized breed will keep up with you outside and pass you if they feel like it until they're old.. Treat it like a friend and it will act like your friend.. if you treat it like a animal it will act like a animal.. That's my experience
I think the best family dog you could ever own is a brittany spaniel. They are loyal as hell and if you like to bird hunt they are arguably one of the best.

boxers are very friendly and loyal (AND VERY ACTIVE!!!!!!) tons of energy hahah if you exercise them they will be good though but energy is a little high in younger years
Great Dane.The only downfall is their life expectancy isn't that long and even worse is they think they're a lap dog.
waltrdalmation, the females tend to attach more to their owners than the males for some reason.
they're great dogs, but they do shed quite a bit so if you want to keep you're house beautiful you're gonna have to keep cleaning the hair up.
Dalmations are the most schizo breed out there. We used to raise them when I was a kid. Still have the scar under my eye. Read up on them.

Yea, the one that bit me, I still loved her (precious lady) she ended getting hit by a car,I was like 6 or so, devastating, come to think of it that was probably my first experience with death.. My Dad had another one when I was a young adult that was a male and kinda like you say, that dog was retarded and nutty as a fruitcake..
