Mariusz Pudzianowski v Jay Cutler
ad
Well who's your favourite lifter and who would you like to build up to be,unless of course your lucky enough to at a similar level.Personally I prefer Mariusz over Jay or any other BB like Coleman etc,the reason being he look's really well built.19st of pure fucking muscle, high quality and extremely strong muscle. The BB's look good but next to him they look like they should be stronger,as far as I know though they really are'nt...Why not you tube some and watch the bro's in action, take a peek at Mariusz Pudzianowski train's shoulder's,from there you can watch other's.The man is the fucking shit (or was) and his World's strongest and Strongman record is the best.Obviously taking nothing away from Cutler because he's a fucking animal

Agree. Something about Current bodybuilder phyiques just dont appeal to me. Maybe its all the synthol use that is starting to become apparent? I like bodybuilders when they have that offseason look. The carbed down depleted look is really not all that appealing to me but I understand its place on stage. Overall Im starting to like the more mass guys like you stated Mariusz or guys like Derek Poundstone. I want more of that kind of build.
I'm not sure how many BB's use synthol, what I do know is it is the most ridiculous substance you could put into yourself...It goes against the objective of creating strong muscle, but then again some people really are'nt bothered.Put them on the preacher curl's and watch their bicep's expand and explode lol
agreed! and believe me, ALOT of them are using. Just cause they dont walk around looking like Greg Valentino, They are still using. Greg abused them and thats why he looks so sloppy. Used right, you cant even tell except for the extra inch in your biceps :(
Greg Valentino....The nme say's it all,I watched his documentary before I ever took roids. It's strange though as i don't remember them mentioning Synthol (obviosly I know he did).Just more bad press for juice I suppose
tread-mGotta go Cutler here all day everyday and twice on SUNDAY! Depends on what you like though. I like the clean looking builders...not the Branch look. But many like the Branch look. Branch looks badass just not the look I aspire to. As for the gear, you cant be there without it so it is assumed. The guys have to make a living and unfortunately all the bullshit on the market is the most effective way to do that. If a few hundred thousand people buy that crap as they work there way up the ladder and discover the "real deal" then so be it. As to not admitting it, you have to understand it from a branding standpoint. To admit it (the gear) kills their brand and the supp companies would simply not value their endorsement as much and they might even find themselves in a scandal of sorts. As a business minded person and a life long self employed person I understand, like it or not this is a business and you will either make it or you wont. Making it unfortunately includes hiding the dirty little secret that so many dont understand. I was pissed too when I found out you had to have the gear to bust through that last wall and open all the new doors but I eventually came to the understanding, life sucks. You adapt and move on. As to "the look", Cutler trains toward the scoring system in Olympia and is not there by accident. He studies those points body part by body part and tries to adapt in the same way the others do ...he is just better at it. Now if the system was designed to be who looks better from the street view or who can beat butter beans ass then Cutler would not be the one I don't think. The system is evolving and it dictates what it wants and Cutler and all the guys for that matter try to give it what it wants, they are just the lap dogs looking for the big prize. Mariusz looks good and is good, not even close to the Olympia standard. Way too many points away in proportion....not even close. By the way, the reason you don't see Cutler using the mega weights and slingin like a wild man, he has too much to protect and little to prove. He did train Branch style at one time but one major tear and you and your brand loses millions. Its just being responsible, rest assured he can still sling the giant weight. Mariusz has everything to gain and nothing to lose so its balls to the walls all the time....Same with Branch, can't get over that hump and willing to train like a wild man to get the attention. Hell I like Green too but I honestly think Olympia is not ready for a pony tail and I don't blame them honestly. This is man country, man up or get used to runner up placing! lol End game is simple...Mariusz beats Jay at many things, Olympia is not one of them!
Yeah I plus +1 you yesterday for this,a good piece on society there bud
tread-mThanks Gents!
Very well done, and I agree 100%. In American business we all lie, and then act like we didn't lie...when we know that everybody else knows that we lied.
America = hypocrisy........in business and politics.
I STILL think Lee Preist had a great look. But now days, you have to have great genetics...great traning....great gear....and the skeletal strcture of a Silverback gorilla.
I don't think Maruisz need's to prove anything, his record's speak for itself and he has his own buisness venture's.So i don't think he's out their proving anything when he is the most successful strongman of all time, but both are extemely successful in both their field's.Suppose it depend's what look you prefer,I don't doubt that Cutler can lift heavy but I don't think he'd pull off lift's like the dominator. No doubt he'd be strong but his muscle like all the Olympian's is'nt built (at least I'd say, their really well shaped and built, they look really isolated) to take that much weight,270kg I belive pudge has benched alone (lower than other strong men,he win's because he's balanced...fast and fit in comparison etc)But yeahcan't compare them their differen,I was just seeing who like's what look
tread-mTrue dat brotha! It is a little like saying are marbles or rocks better....well I dont know, what do you wanna do with them. I'm not sure I'd personally fuuugg with either one of them!lol
Here's one,he ain't as strong but back here when he was in shape man...i know which i'd rather look like

tread-mYeah but Pekanov needs to double up on the pct, those titties are gettin a little ripe!
Yeah that's why I put it up,I would not want to look like Pekanov at all.He can maybe lift a littl emore but I bet he struggle's to walk up the stair's.Mariusz on the other hand's look's really good,he's well conditioned and well built.Pekanov look's like a water bomb haha
Yeah...Cutler is amazing as well, his build is crazy big haha
I don't know who the bigger guy is, but I know who the bigger asshole is....Cutler--HANDS DOWN. He also happens to be the bigger liar since he wants to get on magazine covers and tell all his fans how terrible steroids are, and that the ONLY way to become a freak like him, is to buy the worthless supplements that he GETS PAID to endorse.
I vote for the forgien guy with the name I can't pronounce. If he's German or Polish, he HAS to be a beast. It's in their DNA.
Hey 7 man, watch him shoulder press what most people in the world can't squat. He look's really good as well, not overpumped like Cutler and Coleman.Just 100% quality muscle...take a look, hope the link works and its pronounced Marius Pudge-Za-Nowski (Polish yeah your right, eastern block) Cutler looks bigger but he is not as strong

That made my back hurt just watching it.
Pretty sick eh,what's funny is that he said he used to wake up at 4 in the morning to eat chocolate, with more chocolate for breakfast,10 egg's and 3lbs of bacon.Chocolate in between meal's and so on,ate what he wanted.Crazy diet I suppose he burn's the lot though...lol
AnonMariuz ftw that guy is a true beast! Did you watch his UFC debut it was hillarious! For his size his cardio is insane not many can achieve what he has. I bet he was shooting omnadrens since he was 9 or something.
Not to be too technical here but he hasn't fought in the UFC. He has only fought in KSW and then one other promotion with a dumb name if I remember correctly. The UFC is too mainstream for him he will never be good enough to fight there lol. He was my favorite WSM but as a fighter he gasses in like 2 seconds and I feel bad for him.
But his MMA debut was pretty funny, he even got a running start and soccer kicked the guys legs.. repeatedly. Also the last fight he lost he was stomping the guys ass then gassed horribly and layed there and let the guy OVERPOWER him for an arm triangle lolsssss.
AnonYeah man those kicks where epic. He was chasing arround the other guy all over the ring never seen anything like it. Also the way he kicked it was like he was kicking his donkey or something. I would love to see him training and competing in mma but it just never going to happen. Also they say that in his debut it was all a setup for him to look good, but very enjoyable anyways.
Epic is an understatement lol I bet that other guy couldnt walk the next morning. He could actually be average or decent if he didnt gas before the first round was over.
Now what I would like to see is Mariusz v Jay in an MMA fight. That might actually prove hilarious.
Yeah Mariusz all the way, when he ain't pulling train's he's swearing he don't use juice lol...I've seen him fight butterbean and tim sylva
It's too bad his MMA career is not quite as successful. 3 wins, 2 losses so far.
Yeah I know he's not really a mma guy,he did kickboxing, karate, rugby and other sport's but he is a strongman...He's well conditioned for a strongman but no where near a mma fighter,2 round's and that's him tired. But him being him,I'm sure he'll keep at it.He has a fight this November,I hope he win's but if he can't so be it.He's already got my respect
Yeah, I know, but I was hoping deep down inside that he'd do better. I'd love to see a big powerlifter/strongman transition well into MMA. Probably a pipe dream though because the required programming for each sport is very different.
