ad
What is everyones fav protein drinks,I know muscle milk is quite popular in the USA but other than that I would'nt really know.Seen as I'm gonna be purchasing some online does anybody have any suggestions,at the minute I'm using Multipower muscle Fit protein. It has 53g protein and 50g of carbs and 430ish calories in a 500ml bottle which you split into 2 portions, its the best imo.My other is PHD cookie dough flavour,it tastes awesome and it's good stuff. So what is everyone using???

beavisI work at complete nutrition and the BEST protein out there now is Intek Isolate. Not only does this stuff taste awesome but the calorie/fat/cholesterol/ carb ratio is unbelievable. It is pricey 69.99 for 4 lbs but serious guys feel it's worth it. We also sell something called rezzerect, and it is a post workout with all the bcaa's you need plus a bit of protein, I mix these 2 together with a little extra glutamine to boot. It's actually refreshing to drink post workout as it is blue raspberry flavored. There is a so called better pharm grade out there that is super expensive and you have to know a rep to even get but I can't think of the name now
poonappMyoplex Carb sense RTD, pretty decent, tast is ok but im a bit of a porker so need to keep the carbs low, 25g protein , 1g carbs.
I have a question for everybody, is it better to buy protein supplements online or in store. Can you save money because if so I would sacrifice the convenience of getting them "right now" if I could save even 5-10$, suggestions anyone?
you need to factor in shipping when shopping on line; so you tell us, is it cheaper than your local supplement store?
...Read my posts below on how I'm saving a few dollars.

@Greg thats crazy man,it has 18g's of protein in 2tsps...and the price is ridiculously low, will these lot ship to the uk
Looks like they do: http://www.bulkfoods.com/export.asp
Thanks again for the hookup bro... not only am I adding WPI to my shakes, but also to my eggs, oatmeal, etc... i'm able to hit protein marks without bloating or intestinal issues
AnonYou guys are very lucky if only we could get the p28 and wpi domestically it would be perfect. Not one source has the bread at a decent price :(
Good lookin' out bro! not only did i pick up 5lbs of WPI, I got 5lbs of MSM. JACKPOT!
I look for WPI that has the least amount of additives and crap I don’t need or am already getting through other supplements.
Buying protein supplements is like buying coke that has been stepped on. It’s amazing how much volume 1 pound of pure, uncut, WPI is when placed next to 1 pound of WPI supplement containing sweetener, flavoring, and other additives designed to get your attention.
That said, I buy the best WPI I can find on sale for the flavor. And mix it with 50% bulk WPI (http://www.bulkfoods.com/searchnutriresult.asp?sProdID=41662) End result: better protein, better cost.
@7gothic I just looked that stuff up and it looks really good, lots of flavours to.Gonna make a order and give it a try
@Rods there's two kinds as well, there's synergy which is base of em and pharma whey
AnonIsn't ON a mixture of isolate and concentrate anyway? I used them for a year or so but i found the milk shakes very watery for my liking, i got sick of the choc very fast.
I have used isolate in the past but if i can get a better tasting concentrate i always go for what is easier to gulp.
Yeah it is a mixture, but you want a product that has isolates listed FIRST on the label of ingredients----that means it is the primary source.
Also, my shakes have a lot of different stuf in them, so the thicknes isn't a problem.
Another trick I like to do if I'm in the mood for taste, is to add a scoop or two of Chocolate Malt Cytogainer....YUM!....But not before a BB competition..LOL
AnonTbh i don't fuss much about protein any more as long as it is cheap and it works. Got to give to ON though from all blends i tried you only needed like 100mls of water/milk to make a shake. No froth as well but taste wise they could do better
You shakes sound like full meals mate if i go over 400-500 cals per shake i feel full for hours later. Also another thing that had put me off with ON was the cholesterol content but that changed once they introduced the gold standard, i might give them a go again at some point since i havent tried the "new ones"
@7gothic Hey 7 I've never heard of that stuff before i'm gonna try and see if i can get some delivered,I've never seen it in town anyway.do you kow any sites online you use or do you get that locally
Bodybuilding.com carries almost every supplement on the market.
Optimum may not have a fancy label, but they ARE the best quality.
@Rods i know but its nicer than any milkshake you can buy lol,the multipower bottles I'm on are quite good though just there £3 per bottle, not very cheap
Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey is the absolute best protien on the market.
You want something containing whey protien ISOLATES as the first ingredient...not whey protien concentrate.
2 scoops of that with a 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 3 fresh strawberries, a small hadful of blueberries, and a spoonful of almond butter-----mix in a Vita-mix processor for 30 sec. and you've got a meal.
I'm with u 7Goth... u can even get the Optimum 3pak (whey cassien and multivit) for like 60bucks on BB.com
AnonMp impact whey cookies and cream, cheap as chips and goes very well with creatine. Phd i think is just cakemix never rated them at all.
