Lil' help?
hey guys, still having a little difficulty dialing in my diet. just "feels" a bit heavy. have made some adjustments but still just doesn't feel "right"
i'm doing an 8 wk lean mass (test p/tren a/proviron)cycle
my routine is 5/2
DIET:
-1. OPTI-MEN MULTIVITS
1. 6:30am 1/2 cup oatmeal/ 2oz walnuts/ 1tspn honey
2. 9:30 PWO 1/2 cup OJ/ Gold standard whey/ 1/2 banana/ 2tblsp WPI/ 1/2tspn MSM
3. 12:30 4 egg (1yolk) omelette w/spinach/ 1 pc (P28) toast 1 tspn honey - 4 veg (freshly juiced)
4. 3:00 (see meal 2)
5. 6:00 tuna/avacado on 2 slices of P28 bread or 4oz chix/ 1/2cup brown rice/ 4 veg (freshly juiced)
6. 9:00 cassien/ 2tblsp WPI/ 1/2tspn MSM
(1+ gal of H20)
not sure if i should do away with a meal, reduce a meal, change a meal, maybe add ECA, (trying to stay away from clen on this one... TRYING!) or possibly over thinking cuz i'm only 2wks in (2nd compound)on an 8wk (3 compound)cycle
anything u got guys
thx

tread-mHGH.....Nobody wants to play with you anymore cuz you're too good at everything......................Stay thirsty my friends, stay thirsty!
It looks pretty clean...but for me personally, Ive got to get protien in my body right away in the morning. But that's probably because I'm size-focused. Maybe on a cutter, I'll have to cut some out? I use Gold Stanadard exclusively--the best on the market.
AnonI wouldn't cut out protein on a cutting cycle unless your overall caloric intake is too high.. .. Cut out things with sugar and definitely high fructose corn syrup (which shouldn't be in your diet anyway) .. and lower your carbs. With the main intake of "clean" carbs coming immediately after your work outs/cardio so the body will burn them instead of store them.
Is cardio part of the routine? I'm 44 and have found it to be a necessity after 40 to get to anything approximating "lean". After a lot of experimentation, I've found that using a short acting thermo like ECA or albuterol just prior to an hour of cardio takes the excess fat right off while still letting me sleep at night. 30gr whey before and after prevents any catabolism.
Anondawg, what gear are you using? I thought it would be a major struggle for me considering I am bordering 40 and the anavar is stripping the fat away with relative ease. I am also ravenous and eating pretty much everything in site ;-)!
Test-e 200ml/wk, proviron 75mg/ed, anavar 40mg/ed, albuterol 8-16mg on cardio days which are about 5/wk. This is my lean/strength cycle, and its not for bodybuilding.
AnonDo you have blood tests? If so what does your thyroid panel look like?
hey thanks... actually was talking with a friend (nutritionist) and she said the problem wasn't really the diet itself but the fact that i made the instant jump from 2200c ed to 4000c ed (guess i forgot to mention that) : /
Anonrecently in a discussion with an endocrinologist she very wisely indicated that the diet may not fit the person and the best diet in the world used by the wrong person will not produce the intended results. ... remembering to disclose all relevant information is probably also pretty crucial ;-)
lol...yeah that probably could have been good info to add..lol
im no nutrition master but in my opinion and from ive learned done and had success with is maybe you watch your sugars. Im sure you know sugar is like fast energy but also can be stored as fat if you have to much and dont burn it off. Everything has sugar even veggies. Now as far as carbs go....carbs are not as bad as alot think. Just depends on how much what kind....and actually even when you eat it. You want to eat good clean carbs within 30 minutes after you work out. I eat arnold bread 7 grams protein and clean carbs. or unsalted mini pretzels....they are great for after workout to get a good 30 grams of clean carbs. clean carbs explained is the number of carbs against number of sugars.
Examples
say orange juice has 35 grams carbs and 34 grams sugar.....the closer the number to eachother the less amount of the carbs on the good clean ones.
mini unsalted pretzels
26 grams carbs and only 4 grams sugar so 22 of those carbs and good clean carbs. hope it makes sense
AnonI don't know if anyone has responded yet but I would get rid of the bread.. I know it is high protein and 100% whole wheat etc but you are trying to lean out .... in my world any type of bread is just a big fat no no. It just doesn't work well for me at all. Also, the juiced veges is this a vitamix where you are getting the pulp or a traditional juicer? What kind of veges? you want to stick to ones that are very fibrous like broccoli/cauliflower etc... You might want to trade the OJ in your shake with water or milk...
