When it comes to the most expensive items on the shopping list you should start looking at the cheapest places to get it. I get all my meat from a meat packing warehouse (the place the slaughter house sends the carcass' too). It's about 20% of the price of supermarkets and it's fresher.

Spend at least 200 a week on groceries

I use a wholesale broker ..40 lbs of meat (chicken) is $50.00 = .80 cents per pound..
Fish is $1.50 per pound... much cheaper then buying at a store..

also I buy a shit load at the $1 store... pasta , pasta sauce,etc... chips, other crap..

MrDizzle's picture

I buy the same thing every week.

5- 5 lb bags of chicken breasts
2 large bags broccoli florets
2 bags of dry black beans
1 bag of brown rice
1 container of oats
1 jif natty peanut butter
1- 10 lb bag tilapia
Case of 60 eggs
Shitload of yams and sweet potatoes
Milk

That's about what I eat in a week, not all of it is gone usually, but most of it.

It's about $100 bux

GOOD LAWD this looks a lot like my grocery bill.. only add a few whole chickens, some sweet potatoes and yogurt and the package of SC is really A in my case!! LMAO

Damn, i wish i could only spend that much per week on food. Large families drain the wallet. We are spending double that per week at Costco and we stock to basic nutritious stuff! I'm screwed when all the kids hit teenage years!

have them get part time jobs and chip in $50 a week...you'll be fine... :-)

That looks like serious fuel but 18 eggs last me maybe a day or 2. I must ask thou why white bread and not whole grain?

HllwdBdBoy's picture

Cuz the tren lets me cheat with the white carbs :)))

SwaySway's picture

That's a lot of milk!

rolltide3's picture

I can drink a gallon of milk myself in a day if I'm home all day and not working

HllwdBdBoy's picture

A cpl hefty shakes a day bro

I live the dream bro ( the dream of no wife and kids!) LMFAO!

HllwdBdBoy's picture

the deli chick always has my sliced breast waiting for me - 1/2 lb increments make it an easy chow during the day

Look for an Aldi grocery store homie. Most everything there is usually even much cheaper than Wally World.

HllwdBdBoy's picture

I don't see any oatmeal? lol. I like your diet tho, it is not too often we see a breakdown of everything one plans on eating for a week. Myself I try to avoid as much as possible the white (Italian) bread and Pasta, but if I am going to cheat with white bread it will damn sure be italian. I am curious, what are avocados going for out west? Here in the region of the lakes we have been getting robbed.

HllwdBdBoy's picture

Oatmeal is on my protein shake shopping list LOL!
I can jump all over white carbs this cycle - tren Smile I only eat them up til 3:00 anyway (I hate feeling carb depleted during the day)
We get robbed out here too bro and I can drive right to the avocado field >: /

Pale's picture

That is why I asked. Hell, I would have avocado tree's in my yard, lol. I love them, but between the price and patiently waiting for ripeness....

Bigman111's picture

I use honey wheat bread and veggie pasta when I have it now

bigjrock's picture

That's a good list of items. I try to buy in bulk at Costco. I probable spend 250 every two weeks.

I saw a youtube video of Jay Cutler shopping at Costco.
