I think there is quite a few guys doing this for a current promo ive seen ine jump from a 50 or 60 something to a 105 in just a day! Wtf bro

Obviously if a promo is held for ppl with over 100 karma, the target demographic trying to be reached are members who have long standing contributions with the community. Not some one who just joined a few months ago with no credibility.

I know the promos make it hard to want karma points and the people that give out karma are to blame for this as well. Use this site as it is intended, a steroid review site. Help and contribute where you can without the selfish desire for karma points. As you can tell, it wont go undetected and the punishment is severe.

The reality is that most of the guys that go mad about freebie giveaways won't get great results from what they do with it as they don't spend the money on food that they need to. Whilst I realise money is tight for some, if a couple of hundred dollars of free gear is a big deal then I doubt you can afford the grocery bill this lifestyle requires.
Truth. If I qualify for a promo I use it to stock up. I've passed on a few, I just didn't need anything.
Cause honestly you should be spending atleast a hundred a week on food alone

If you find anyone karma whoring just report it; we have mods in place for a reason and it is not our job to police anyone and or tell them we will take karma from them because that is reverse karma whoring. People are people and they will get caught. When they do the mods put up a very nice post ousting them publicly. I personally don't think banning is a good punishment. Changing their tag to a name like cupcake or princess and having them start off at -25 karma would be even better in my opinion. 2nd offense should be a life ban because if you are stupid enough to do it twice, you deserve it.
