How much is your food bill.
ad
I was thinking earlier that bulking up can get pricey eating 4,500+ cals a day. Im not talking about bad food either with loads of calories. Im talking about high protein, clean carbs. Things such as chicken breast, salmon, lean ground turkey, etc. Organic foods also are a little higher in price. Bulking can get expensive. Cutting down is a lot easier because I don't have to buy as much food. So how much do you eat a week, how much do you pay?

around $120-150 / week just for food alone.. no supplements...costco ALL day
I buy my meats from a wholesaler. ( 40 lbs of chicken thighs /boneless / skinless , runs me $50.00 ) I'm
getting 60 lb's of pork shoulder next week, that will cost me $65.00. Pretty cheap. I buy my normal
groceries at Aldi's , 4-5 gallons of milk ($2.30 per). Vegges,Oatmeal,Eggs,etc..also cheap.
If I spend $100.00 - its more like $150+ at your normal grocery store. My supps cost me a bit.
But not that much. Amino's / Liver tabs / Creatine / Liquid Amino's / Vits/B-12/Calcium etc. I buy
those in bulk as well. Protein Powder- 6lb bags $30.00. There is no reason to spend a ton to
get decent quality foods. - I do 5-6 small meals a day.
roughly $500-$600 every two weeks for just the wife and I. Thats just food and protein. Plus I shop at the commisary, no sales tax :/
Whatever I can get off the dollar menu. Jk, don't really track my spendings but everytime I go to the commissary it's like $100-150 and I go every week. I also eat out everyday at lunch, usually subway chicken breast sandwich double meat.
Meanwhile in most of the third world people are living off less than a dollar a day and don't know when their next meal will be.
Costco! My family of three drops 900-1,000 monthly.
breakingfaceTypically I make one trip a month and buy bulk... usually 500 bucks worth. Then I allow myself 50 bucks a week for additional groceries. It gets really tight. There are times when I live on 50lb bags of brown rice and ground beef.
About $180.00 dlls/week including food, protein and supplements.
It really is expensive. When cutting time comes around its a nice break on the bank roll.
There is two of us killing it.. the bill is monstrous bro.. but luckily suzy b has a sponser for the powders and supps so that helps to keep it in the sane bracket...... Fresh natural foodstuffs are mega- expensive over here in the UK so no wonder all the fat-fucks live on cheap proccessed and fast foods it costs a hell of a lot less to be outa shape over here lol
i.e .. last week we went through 40 chicken fillets and 10lbs of turkey breast meat, then theres the eggs and etc etc etc etc... you know the menu bro lol
I am eating about 3500cals/day... I spend $150/week... That's for just me... Not counting protein shakes, or vitamins/supplements
