ad

I have a abcess forming on my arm, and it's not like popable yet so what should I do to stop it from forming? I'm worried right now

Looked at pic. Too hard to diagnose based off pic alone. My first glance at all pic gives me an idea of boil or staphylococcus epidermis,, since you say it isn't sore. How is it today?

unless things have changed for the worse I don't think this is an abscess.

From the pics it looks like a boil, not an abscess. Clean the site really well with an Alcohol pad, take a new sterile syringe, pin the site an draw on it. If fluid flows into the syringe freely it's an abcess.
Honestly though bro, if you can't tell the diff between a boil and an abscess, you better get your ass to the doc. Pronto. No need of dying on us bro.
Update: after looking at your pics, I think it would be smart to not let any of us try to diagnose what that is. The pics are shitty. Looks like you took the pics through either a coke bottle or Monster666's camera. Get to the doc bro. I'd hate to hear of you dying.

Is this from an injection site? If so, how long ago did you inject there?

Excellent point.

If it's not an injection site as you say, it probably not a bacterial abcess. Most likely a clogged gland. Use a heating pad and it should come to a head. If it does get hot and the redness spreads, then get to the doc or ER ASAP.

abscess is a serious bacteria infection.

left untreated you WILL lose your arm

very unlikely it will go away from heating pad

go to doc!

There is nothing to do to stop it without antibiotics...go to the doc ASAP or you are goin I end up much worse than you are...ie open drain and out for weeks

Bro buckle down and go get some antibiotics from the Dr . That is the only thing that I know to help until it forms then you can drain it yourself but you still going to need antibiotics for that as well.

Not on it's own all the heating pad is going to do is keep bringing it to the surface like a zit.but this is not something that you can squeeze and pop. An absess you will have to stick an 18g needle in with syringe n draw out the infection by hand. If you mash it like a zit you can actually push the infection into your blood stream, be the worst pain ever could even cause loss of limb worse case. If it enters your blood stream that means that it can and will travel anywhere in your body you will be hospitalized. This maybe stopped in it's tracks right now with a shot of antibiotics and a prescription of Kelptic pills. Those are a very strong antibiotic given only for bacteria infection. The Dr will not call the cops on you for this dude just go on in b4 it gets any worse and try to stop it.
