For those fancy occasions - Suits

ad

Well boys, we’re back for another clothing related problem. We’ve covered jeans and shirts, but what about the fancier stuff?
Pale introduced me to www.hotbodz.com for dress shirts that actually fit muscular body types.... but then I ran info another issue. I’m getting married in a few months and I need a suit. (No tux, we’re doing a beach wedding!)

So I went out with the future mrs and tried on a ton of suits, but apparently there’s literally nothing that fits off the rack. At men’s warehouse if you wear a 46 coat the pants start at waist 38. And if I pick a 44, it’s tight across the back and the belly still has enough spare material for a parachute. And on top of that they’re all made with skinny arms that get tight on my biceps when I bend them.

So, unless someone has a god send on a miracle suit, I need some recommendations on a good custom fit suit brand!

Cowboy up and go purchase a respectable custom tailored suit. Don’t mess around with a cheap suit. Go to the Ermenegildo Zegna web site, set up an appointment at the nearest Ermenegildo Zegna Custom shop and get started. You’ll have to work through various fittings and it’s kind of a pain in the ass but it’s worth it.
You’ll feel and look like a million bucks.

Custom all the way. Better quality, perfect tailoring. Advice though - get them just slightly bigger all.around if you plan on growing. I have my bulk and cut suits, since i fluctuate weights often..

That being said, i also have a buddy in the custom suit game. So i get em.for like a few hundred bucks

https://www.indochino.com

Nice custom made suits for probably half what you will find in local shops.

I’ll have to make an appointment and swing by one next time I’m in town!

You can do it all online. That’s the best part. Just follow the video tutorial and have someone help you with the measurements.

I would have been very hesitant to click a link like www.hotbodz.com especially if Pale sent it to me hah..

This is one of the more frustrating clothing situations. You either have to find a suit that is able to be altered to your physique or just have something custom made.

The last time I required a nice suit, I bought a pretty decent one on sale and then had a trailer alter it. It ended up being close to what a half decent custom made one would have cost and it didnt fit 100% right. From now on I just opt for decent custom made suits.
