FIRST PIN yesterday

as my first time pinning i went with the ventroglute. i used a 23g 1.5" and it went well but idk if i did it in the correct spot. alot of people are pinning in the mid/posterior part of the hip. i pinned more anterior (towards the front of my body) i just went under the iliac crest and flexed the muscle,found the center of it then relaxed and pinned?

GearofWarI pin there a lot. Best way for me to describe how I locate it is to sit down on a chair or the toilet bowl and lift your leg. Look down at the crease where your leg and your hip meet. The the muscle that pops up when your foot is raised off the floor is the injection site. Hope this helps. Additionally, I ALWAYS heat my oils, typically I put them under my armpits a while. Go ahead and laugh but it works a treat.
alright thanks i did it standing up..when i sit down the spot where i pinned is very close to the iliac crest. when standing up it roughly 2-3.5 inches down tho
GearofWarBingo! Sounds perfect. My favorite spot to pin. It's in a spot that even if pip develops its not going to debilitate you. That makes it a great location for pinning higher concentration oils like sus450 and special blends that have high compound concentrations. High five for going ventroglute on your first pin though. I personally use BD Luer Lock 25g 1.5" for drawing and pinning. I don't use a new sharp when putting the gear in my muscle either. Lots of guys will do that to make sure the pin is as sharp as possible for less pain but I personally don't notice any difference at all.

Yeah i thought it was the best spot to start..say if im an inch off and not in the exact location is it ok? Like as long as no pain and its in 1.5 inches in im good right? I was also affraid that when i aspirated the blood might not even come in syringe even if i hit a vein like how the gear wouldnt load up easy?
GearofWarYeah I was going to mention to never forget to aspirate. I make pinning a process so as to keep my steps in order and to keep things as sterile as possible also. I warm my gear, as I'm doing that I lay out 2 alcohol swabs, 1 for the vial stopper, and one for whichever area of my skin I'm about to pin. Grab a fresh pin set it out, but I won't open it until I'm ready to draw from the vial. If you make a routine of it you're a lot less likely to forget a step. In regards to where you place the pin its not a huge deal so long as its deep into the densest part of the target muscle tissue. a lot of guys vary on how much/deep to place the pin in. It depends where you're pinning; obviously you're not going to want to pin smaller muscle groups using all 1.5" of your pin. I always push that bitch in to the hilt when pinning legs, glutes, ventroglutes, and even delts. As far as aspiration goes give the plunger a good tug backwards like when drawing your oil and you'll know you're good right away if you don't see blood. I usually only need to see one small air bubble pull into the syringe and I go for it. Sorry such a long reply bro, lol.
I prefer the top right side of the glute. However u used the right size needle, there is tons of vids of how to pin in youtube. Virgin muscle always going to get PIP. Sometimes a warm bath and heating the oil helps to reduce PIP. Good luck bro
yeah the pip isnt anywhere near where i pinned tho its weird..im gunna heat up the stuff next time..i could barely draw it out of the vial. when i inject air into the vial i do it in the air not the actually liquid test right? and when i was drawing i could only get a cunt hair under a full ml no matter how far i pulled the plunger back? thanks for the help
Bro use a hair dryer and i promise u that oil is going to flow like water or real hot water if u dont have one or even the coffee machine.
Sometimes i stick the whole vial up my ass and leave it there, then pull it out and the oil will be thin & boiling ready to pin lmao jk jk

i dont have pip in the spot i injected,but about 6 inches away is fucking killer, glute area. maybe cause i worked legs yesterday idk
