Different ways to prepare Tuna

ad

I have eaten tuna for months at a time to stay off carbohydrates. I am running out of ideas.
HELP!

IrishJerk's picture

Hahhaha yep !!!
I wish my metabolism could handle pizza.
I have to cut my carbs to keep my sugar low enough too stay off meds. I envy you hahahha

I have resorted to this from time to time lol. I love this answer, juice you have made my day lmfao.

we used to do the same with dove. Wrap it in bacon and cook it, when it’s done throw the dove away and eat the bacon, i’m a country boy but dove is horrible haha

I agree the squirrels and quail fear me.
I love my venison too.

Hello Sir,

Have you tried not to eat tuna and replace it with some other source of protein??
Am I missing something?

Regards

IrishJerk's picture

Yep brother, I have hahaha but I can’t afford my filet mignon. On a re stocking month.

.

IrishJerk's picture

Yep they are really good. The military pouches are the same quality and a whole lot cheaper.

You know how much mercury is in that shit?

IrishJerk's picture

Yep I burn through 80 pounds of it a year. And I can still make the rockets fly.
I do do some Chelation therapy, once in a while to make sure my brain still works.
And I still get my flu shot full of murcury too.
Just saying

Tuna on top of tuna. We aint' playing around here

IrishJerk's picture

Yeah on my lazy days it is my go to dish
Hahhahah

GrowMore's picture

Mine too. I add some squeezed lemon from a bottle and bang it down. Easy on the go.

rabbitman's picture

I like tuna patties cooked up like you do with salmon. Quick and easy protein you can stash and munch on before or after you workout. Love them!

IrishJerk's picture

Yep it is going on my list!! Thanks man

rabbitman's picture

another way is make muffins out of it, protein packed as well. I make a lot of things up like this coz i’m always in a run usually and don’t have time to open a can up and sit down. Most of the time it’s grab and go for me. You can find a tuna muffin recipe anywhere on the net. Just simple and easy. Also use canned chicken just to switch it up every now and then. It’s just fuel way i see it

IrishJerk's picture

Yep I can do that too. I switch back and forth with chicken too. Sometimes just a shake isn’t enough.

Bill G's picture

With a fork. Bro it's just fuel. I here wash it down with a coke about 45 minutes before a big lift will reap the best benefits. Might just be a rumor

IrishJerk's picture

Yep it is definitely a good protein go to meat.
I can’t eat steak all the time, especially when I need to cut back on fat

Gtone70's picture

Ahi tuna steaks, salt pepper and a little olive oil and fresh lemon, fry pan it for a minute each side, than enjoy

IrishJerk's picture

Yep bro that’s a fine meal !

IrishJerk's picture

Yep, I order the 46 oz military pouches. Cans aren’t fit to eat for months at a time.
My favorite is Tuna, mayo 6 oz of cheese and so much cyan that my eyes water.

It is my go to protein.

Add some onions and put it on a tortilla.

Similar to Guru Vikings shake bro, try it it’s surprisingly good, 12 oz Clamato or for lower salt alt spicy v8 and a can of tuna blended.
